So, how is the Blood Rush x Sprint Burst meta going?
I recall when this Perk was shown on the PTB, most people I have seen wanted this Perk nerfed due to it pairing very well with certain Exhaustion Perks, yet right now ever since it's release, I have only seen two people run it, both of which unsuccessfuly during their adept attempts...
But I wonder, anybody seen this Perk used themselves? Maybe I'm just unlucky (or lucky).

It's going as well as the Boon : Exponential and Soul Guard meta.

According to nightlight, blood rush has a whopping 0.16% usage rate, which is 16th from the bottom, and below a *completely empty loadout*.
Apparently, a perk that requires you to be healthy (so is hard countered by tunneling) is literally a waste of a perk slot. The only value is when you're doing adept, because it's mandatory. Who could've seen that coming?

It's really funny how restrictive this Perk is:
- Be on last hook stage
- Be healthy
- Requires an Exhaustion Perk
- Temporarily injures you on use
It's kinda sad.

yeah the one time use per trial is rough it good lategame when gens are almost done but that's about it

Made this little discussion about how it could be reworked

Let me know if the ideas are a bit too strong or not strong enough. :)

I have tried using it a handful of times. I'm not a good looper so it's very risky for me, but I do admit that it is fun to shoot off double Sprint Bursts against a killer and just zoom across the map. Especially if I'm lucky enough to do it towards the exit gates and escape. It's not good, but it's entertaining.

It's going much worse, actually.

BHVR is super scared of releasing good survivor perks. Weaving Spider is a great example. It could have a good effect, but the condition is so over the top, nobody will successfully use that one.

That’s because of specific killer content creators; i.g. Otzdarva. His videos more recently are downplaying or outright ignoring survivor issues—which is strange because he used to speak about them quite a bit. Anyway he’s known for rallying the killer community against certain survivor perks with his ‘balanced’ philosophy, but glosses over if not outright ignores killer perks or add-ons that are overpowered. I believe he’s largely responsible for the dev’s new approach to survivor perks (he made a lot of noise about MFT, but he thinks Weaving Spiders is good btw).

I have used this perk a couple of times and it only gave me value 2 times ever

IMO, better example is Deadline. 10% more skillchecks would probably have been fine without any drawbacks. It would've been okay-ish if it just had the 'harder skillchecks' condition. It would've been kinda bad with the 'only when injured' condition. But it has both, for some reason, utterly burying it.

Gotta love how many calls for nerfs there were before launch, only for it to be competely useless.
I guess that was the point of threatening to stop making certain content, as he felt BHVR never listened to him.

Don’t forget the counterforce meta.

The perk is pretty decent if it worked both hook states it would be nice

Like Dead Hard? Yeah, I'd like that. Could semi-counter Fearmonger.

Vigil + sprint burst is still better
The perk Vigil does that
