Evil Incarnate achievment?
2 -
Yeah, going on about 20 minutes
1 -
Some survivors are so spiteful they'll hide in a locker for 40 minutes just so you can't get an achievement
3 -
She made a bad play and I managed to get her before I wasted too much time. Achievement secured.

Yeah it feels like a hatch stand off but in this case if they stay in the locker the whole hour they just die to the server closing which wouldn't give the achivement. I think its very petty especially when your the last alive and are basically dead anyway.

And on this episode of Myers' Tombstone add-ons are poorly designed and are screaming out for a rework:

I mean at least their running the build people don't have as much of a problem with since it takes like 3 gens worth of time to get it. And theres more counterplay. Even if they rework tombstone piece i dont see them changing these.

iwl when any addon can facilitate this type of gameplay, especially when encouraged by an achievement, its just objectively not healthy for the game. both sides are bored and frustrated and it just encourages greater frustration and divide between an already split community.
i just dont like tombstone lol theyre very outdated

"Petty", "spiteful". Some mental gymnastics going on in this threads because a survivor did not die in the way the killer preferred for some meaningless steam achievement the survivor might not have known is being attempted. If that even was the case. Better luck next time.

It does make me laugh though myers technically has the most lore accurate build in the game. Hes just like "wait why do i hook you when i can just" lol. Guess they wanted him to have it because hes evil incarnate or somethin.

I'll happily do this while teammates are alive, a salty Myers is better than instantly losing a teammate. (That and 99% of Myers in my region run tombstone piece every single game)
But once you're the last person like this, you've already lost, the game is over, you're just choosing to be a dick.

HAHAHA🤣
I tried this recently about 20 times in a row and it ended ALWAYS exactly like this. I was close to get insane and those who followed the attempt fia Live had a fun time :D I even had a few standoffs that took half an hour.
My mistake, i should have done it in like 2017 where people have not been aware of this.
PS. i did not got the achieve. Next time maybe?
Exactly. Apparently they are all dicks.

It is petty. The survivor is dead either way. The only reason someone would do this is to deny the achievement. If the killer hasn't pulled you out of the locker and everyone else is dead then it is pretty clear what is happening.
These add ons need a complete rework (and along with it the achievement).
2 -
Agreed on the rework and the achievement, I'm 6 off of having 100 percent of the achievements and this was by far the most annoying to get because of lockers. I'd also like to add, the only reason I ended up achieving it is because the survivors realized what I was going for and literally ended up just giving it to me in order for them to go next quickly.

It is clear if you know about it. First time I saw double iri Myers I did not.

If the survivors knew how slow he was, they could have done a lot of things.
I don't blame the last survivor for locking himself in a locker. It's his right so I pick him up and move on to the next game. That's how I unlocked it.

You're actually trying to tell me it isn't petty to hide in a locker for minutes on end just because you don't want the killer to get an achievement you would waste upwards of 30 minutes just to deny a person that you might never EVER see again in the game for an achievement lol i want what you're having sounds fun
2 -
Expect nothing less from dbd players, especially survivors.

glad u got your achievement. It's definitely not easy running the iridescent tombstone and infinite. You pretty much stuck stalking the whole game.
With that being said i hope they gut tombstone piece very soon. Pinky finger, spirit mdr, blight addons, etc. They remove most of the broken addons and Myers should be up next.

Explain how it isn't petty to sit in a locker for several minutes on a lost game for the sole purpose of denying an achievement
And don't tell me they might not have known, there is no explanation for this behavior that doesn't involve them being aware of the achievement.
3 -
'Denying an achievement', 'this behavior', pure entitlement. They made it to a locker so you did not earn it. Why are others supposed to gift you achievements? If anything that shows flaws in game and achievement design. Yet you choose to be mad at a player using his last bit of agency. Having this strong of a reaction to a situation this trivial is completely overblown. These achievements are psychological tricks designed to keep you playing. They are nothing and you judge people negatively based on that. Fantastic.

As long as I don't lose a pip (another reason that system needs to go) I gladly give Meyers the achievement when I can tell they're trying to get it.
Too bad we can't communicate but I guess that would mess up the game><
It's when they try right away for it, it's like nah, at least let me play for a bit. I'm not depipping because you want that achievement.
1 -
I mean you're dead either way at this stage.
You can tell the Myers is going for the achievement if they are standing at the locker hoping you'll come out. A Myers who is just doing tombstone for fun will just yank you out, hook you, and end the match. They won't care.
Its a really hard achievement to get. You lose nothing by just letting them tombstone you, and you help a fellow Dbd player out. I know you're not obligated, morally or otherwise, to help out another player. Its just a case of being nice and doing someone a solid when it literally costs you nothing.
