Hey guys just asking is skull merchant getting another rework or is she staying the way she is 🤔

    Nothing confirmed yet. As far as we are aware she may stay the way she is.

    i find her too easy as killer she doesn’t have any skill to her and then for survivor point of view you know the rest really 😂😂😂

    I still can not believe there are people trying to defend this abomination. I would rather face DH for distance together with MFT instead of facing her.

    With her kill rate being at 70% she's definitely going to be on the year 8 Q1-Q2 roadmap.

    No more SM reworks focus on other killers stop changing SM and Sadako already just kill switch her or something instead of wasting more dev time on another change (that everyone will hate anyways)

    The 70% KR, the general vehement hatred of the Killer and people's refusal to play against her does make me think we'll be seeing her on the road map AGAIN

    And that's the sad part. I personally have no problem with her. But to see my teammates give up EVERY and I mean EVERY SM match I've been in 1st hook; it doesn't sit right with me because I suffer from it.

    I really dont know how to make a power that press M2 without time investment like Trapper/Hag that have a whole area affected. To make it fair and interactive, plus skill expression on killer.

    Perhaps her current state is fine in some aspect, but there is zero skill expression which make injuring survivors feel not deserved

    They probably have a lot of other stuff they want to put resources into updating so I am gonna guess SM is way down the list. She requires almost a complete redesign imo or she will continue to be top killer due to everyone mysteriously dying first hook and the go-to killer for trolls wanting to irritate others

    For me I’m sick of people dcing against her so when i see some do it on my team i do it because what’s the point. Then when im killer i play her she is boring to play as because she doesn’t have any skill to offer that’s satisfying and when i do play her as killer people just leave so i just don’t bother playing her 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

    There could be a longer animation for setting up drones, with her moving slowly or completely stationary as she powers on a drone at one spot. It would discourage using drones mid-chase and allow for more strategic plays in chase, the same way Trapper and Hag can fake setting traps, as well as encouraging setting up drones in more strategic spots outside of chase similar to the other trappers. She would need more drones to compensate, however.

    Seriously doubt it especially since i'd imagine twins are getting the focus at the moment. Skull merchant currently is a bit boring but she's fine. No different than artist or knight really

    She gets broken, hindered, deep wound, oblivious for free just for setting one up so she can sneak up on generators and stuff and drones that you can't interact with while in chasse, can reset them from a distance and even if she doesn't they reset after a while. That doesn't sound like a healthy killer

    Maybe not. But they do reset for free with no interaction on her part at all. I forgot she even gets haste for free just for her drones scanning you. Can we get all of these effects on every killer in the game for just using your power? Didn't think so. The fact she gets so many different effects for barely any effort, while survivors have to interact with the drones to disable them but can't do so in chase is a big problem.


    Might as well make trapper set his traps instantly, and not need any addons to make them automatically reset, or hag, placing her traps with no setup time either. All trap killers have setup time. Skull merchant does not.

    I get why players hated the original 3 gen chess merchant. That was genuinely awful. But rework merchant isn't that bad imho. She is nowhere near as oppressive as people in this thread make her sound. I'd take a skull merchant over doctor, plague, or legion any day. (not saying those killers are op, I just hate playing against them)

    Í'll just leave this here as it explains perfectly WHY the skull merchant is one of the most problematic killers in the game and WHY she is still not liked at all.

    Her power is indeed unsalvageable but they at least could alleviate it by removing the Undetectable or making survs lose one lock-on stack after disabling a drone. Something like that.
