DBD is dying?

Only in DBD comp there are some extra rules. The existing rules of DBD are not changed though. So you could compare this to the extra rules that allow you swap hands by either using a 0 or a 7 in UNO. It's fundamentally still the same game. What you can pull of in normal UNO you can still pull off with the extra rules. And partially this is also true, if we reverse it.
Tunneling works in comp DBD. It also works in normal DBD. It's highly effective in comp DBD and it's highly effective in normal DBD. People tunnel to win in comp DBD and people tunnel to win in normal DBD. It's not always necessary but it allows you to win more often, which is what most players care about.

Because your whole point is that tunneling is a must to win. Its not do you not remember the original argument? You say its a must to win in comp and in regular I said in comp maybe but regular dbd no comp is a whole different game and you tried to say its not now your saying just because a strategy works in both its the same game make up your mind. I guess you just need to get better at the game because I never have to tunnel so I guess I'm just a better killer then you.

And that is where you're wrong. I never argue that tunneling is a must because it isn't. I argue that people tunnel because it allows them to win when they can't win otherwise and that instead of blaming this on the players, we should blame this on the people that are actually responsible. The devs.
There are quite a few reasons for a killer to tunnel but only 1 reason to spread hooks, which is to play nice. But playing nice, most of the time is neither appreciated nor rewarded.
I kept on saying that it's the most effective way to play in comp, which is why people adopt it into normal play. Because at the end of the day, that is what most care about; winning.

Calm down guys, the point here is yea ik tunneling isn't toxic or it is a rule but this is what i was talking about, behavior have to do something, the killers win rate will go up a lot bc of tunnels, like i said before ik dbd is a killer game but why someoen will play as a survivor if he know there's no way you escape? the game is 4 survivors 1 killer and 5 gens, if the killer tunn someone with 5 gens up the 3 survivors remaining will lose the game, 3 survivors CAN`T do 5 gens and still escape bc this is so ######### hard so when the killer tun he already win the game, so behavior needs to do some changes in the rules.
Come on guys i am a survivor and killer player and ik as a killer if you play like a normal person you can win easy, i`m main Deathslinger and Cenobite but i dont tun and often get 3k and sometimes 4k, yea ofc there is some games that i get only 1k or 2k but if you know how to play as a killer you dont need to tun, slug or camp a hook and that is a fact.

if you sat back on here and argued with me about this this whole time how I said its bad for the game and its not necessary to win then why were you even saying that was my whole point.

In short: Killers ofc will defend tunneling bc they tunneling and if it become a rule they won't kill, like i said before a good killer dont need tunn.

Yea that was my whole point. Then he came along saying its needed because of comp and all types of stuff. My whole point is the same as yours good killers don't need to tunnel. Tunneling creates bad killers because they never actually learn how to play.
