Buffing the Nightmare

Freddy Krueger is one of the killers who is owed a much needed buff due to the dev's overreaction and the pretty much week one nerf made with sonic speed. There is nothing wrong with Freddy krueger being an end game killer, so let his power and addons show that. The devs said learn to play against him, but nerfed him to the ground. The amount of disconnects was astounding I admit. However the inability to see who was asleep and who wasn't made a lot of people frustrated and was something that should've been there to begin with, causing people to overreact. I love this community and I am glad they added an indicator for the pig's power in the following dlc. Here are my ideas for buffing Freddy.

Power: Dream Demon
Freddy's power shouldn't take place too quickly without addons, but should take place not too long compared to the "wake up" action. So 5-6 seconds is ok. However, with this the dream power should make it so survivors have a 0% chance to obtain a skill check during dream transition, and progress to generators should be reduced to 0% while in the dream world yet still able to produce a skill check (similar to installing a brand new part). Everything else will remain 50% slower. The doctor can stop people from doing almost any action while in madness, so is this farfetched? If not, at least have a slight slow affect to survivors added, less than 5%.

Freddy also needs his power to damage survivors so it should have some way to be decently threatening.Waking up from sleep is so easy it is laughable to be asleep, it was nerfed to allow survivors to wake up automatically when healing from a dying state. This should be removed, this causes Freddy to be laughed at during the end game, as he has more counters than any other killer with little to make up for it. When an exit gate is open, Freddy can't stop survivors being altruistic and team healing the downed survivor. Once up, the survivor can then run out with no threat of being knocked back down. Also. An unbreakable using survivor can get up and stop a slug with no penalty. The person can't be tracked, let alone be hit by freddy anymore. Freddy is countered by everything a survivor has plus adrenaline, unbreakable, the instaheal needle, selfcare is super effective against Freddy as well and even the hook is costly at the end game as it wake a survivor up.

Killer addons:
His addons are pretty good for what his power is. He is an end game killer and shouldn't be one hit downing survivors without the aid of a perk. A few could use slight rebalancing.

Classphoto:
Nothing is wrong with class photo, I believe classphoto should always have a cost to use, as the time to go to sleep without addons is lowered, class photo needs to increase to be balanced. 

Block addons:
Changed to offer same percent reduction as it always was.

Pill bottle:
Change the rarity or rework completely, or make freddy visible suring dream transition fully because this addon is not really needed since you see only glimpses of the nightmare now. 

Blackbox:
Great addon, but I never see in online play pretty much. Outclassed by classphoto, reducing the obsessions skillcheck chance further would be a good slight buff. 

Red paint brush:
Slowing Freddy when he gets slowed after using his power anyway is not a good trade off even with the meta in mind. Sprint burst? Freddy is on the other side of the map. An addon of this rarity shouldn't make you hate yourself, take off the slow please. Meyers have great balancing for his addons, being slowed when he can instantly remove people from the game to prevent him from being sonic with a kitchen knife. Freddy gets a penalty for being able to hit with regular damage sooner than usual? 

Dress addons:
Increase the effects, lower skill check chances by even more but not impossibly more. Something small. 

Base stats:
Return his terror radius back to 16 meters, his lullaby radius can be kept the same. Despite the spotlight trailer, you can't hide from Freddy when he tags you with sleepiness but survivors do need to have a good amount of time to know he's coming since they can't see him like pig or wraith. 

Thank you whoever took the time to read this, please let me know your thoughts. I love this killer and he recieved so much mistreatment in his short time here he might as well be a survivor on a hook in this game.

    So i am a Freddy main yes they exsist and your right with most of dis here I like the idea of makeing entering the Dream world fast insted of the standered 8sek to a healthy 5-6sek. The idea with the skill check is also great. and makeing the survivor slower in the dream world i wouldn't say 5% maybe 3 or 2% slowed bacurse else freddy is to fast for any mind games for the survivor or any loop to have a chance to escape.

    I understand, was thinking of a 1% slow, not a full hindered slow. That would be broken

    Just an FYI regarding the Dream Transition. Devs are seriously considering changing it so that survivors cannot do "channel" abilities while in the transition phase. This includes things like healing, generators, totems, unhooks, ect. Anything that has a bar that fills, they cannot do while in the transition phase. The idea is to give Freddy some defense. If this goes through, a longer transition phase may not necessarily be a bad thing anymore
