The timing of all of this is crushing. A lot of new & returning players since the last killer was released, and then it's Freddy trap after Freddy trap to the face. 😕

I lost a few BP offerings to this event too before i copped on as well

In consolation, I offer up some Puppers cosplaying Quentin on the old Thompson House map. Was vs a slug Billy. Puppers ran him soooooo bad, then collected his Trophy from that event.

It is... peaceful. Sweet memories from better days.
Not much different than a regular Blood Hunt, except the event offering malfunctioning and cancelling everything else. For an event advertised as "BP based", it is a disappointment.
The anniversaries, or that legendary Blood Feast from 2017 would give us far better rewards. What this event offers is disproportional to what was said, in my opinion.

unless im reading it wrong the bloodfeast gave 3x bloodpoints and as this event goes on we will end up with 3x bloodpoints, on top of the fact we have bonus bp gained from event scoring events and 2k more in each category to earn and event tome with 300k+ bp in it

So... what now? This is the event? We can't even use the event offerings. We could already always use our own BP offerings. The event is there to do what?

I mean, first of all it is an information that the Offering is killswitched. Would also not say that OP was trying to bash them. In the end, they hyped up the event pretty much AND there was no Lunar New Year Event, which is one of the most anticipated events each year.
So the Offering not working properly and even cancelling out BP-Offerings is really not the best start for the event. I hope they extend it for a few days (and fix the Offering of course).

Wasn't this event delayed by like a month specifically to make sure it will work smoothly too? BHVR truly never fails to meet our expectations.

No, not at all.
Making things up followed by "BHVR truly fails to meet our expectations" is not really the way to go.
EDIT: I stand corrected, apparently they planned it already for January and February and the event mentioned in the Roadmap was not the Lunar New Year Event from the start...

This event? The Blood Moon-Event was delayed?
Usually there would have been a different event (Lunar New Year), but this is not happening this year. But the Lunar New Year is a diffferent event than the Blood Moon-Event.

Yeah, I stand corrected. "this brand new event" seems to refer to the event which was planned for January/February.

Yeah, though we don't know why Blood Moon got delayed. Maybe it had something to do with Lights Out.
Either way, it is odd this event released the way it did. We were told of an event based on BPs, but that is definitely not what we received.

Meh whatever though, I am still mostly enjoying the event for what it is. Other than the usual very unfun sweaty tunnelling proxying at 5 gen killers but that is the same as any other day lately

Yeah this event flopped, especially because it was hyped up so much with "the biggest bp event ever" (200% bonus you have to work towards as a community, with anniversary giving 500% almost every match for 2 weeks and cakes you can use all year)

They can literally rework a killer power and break the perk "Unbreakable". The code is so fragile when they release or fix 1 thing they break 3 others
