Using it as a deterrent to breaking pallets is extremely useful. Put it on a safe pallet and it’s a lose/lose for the killer since you either get to play the safe pallet or gain a lot of distance

That'd be a MASSIVE nerf. It discourages Killers from breaking it, giving you a chance to either mindgame and get to a vault/other pallet or stall to bloodlust 2-3 on good loops easily, wasting a lot of time against stubborn Killers. If you think it'd be better if it was invisible then i encourage you to think about where you are placing it.
Do not use it on god pallets (unless the few extra seconds is invaluable for example first down of the match) or weak loops that can be easily mindgamed. Choose strong non god pallets.
