my worries about the next tome
Hello everyone, I hope you're having a good day
I'm here to tell you that I'm very worried about the next tome, because it will be the tome on unkwnown and Sable, they are always making the tomes based on the dlcs, so when a dlc is released, the next tome will be of the characters that were released in the dlc, in many rare cases when there was the alien, there was no tome of them but they are licensed so it is more difficult to have them.
But I'm scared, because there's probably going to be a mission to use sable's invocation perk, and I really don't want that mission to exist, because my god, if the mission requires using the invocation, it's going to be impossible to play survivor during that period, seriously

I didn't consider that. Hopefully it's just something like "escape the trial while using perk" rather than a requirement to use it.
But worst-case scenario... it will be a funny few weeks, at least.

If the challenge happens I feel like it's okay just have the perk and use it near the end of a match and done but if it's then escape then I'm good on not doing it.

The ptb will happen before then so hopefully they buff it to at least be mediocre instead of game throwing.

Just think of the free bp I mean we should definitely have it be used as they think it is a good perk. I believe as a fellow kill…survivor player that it is completely useful and does not give a free win to the other side at all.

If the challenge is "escape from trial WITH the invocation perk" that's fine😄
if the challenge is "escape from a trial USING the invocation perk" it's not good at all🤣

Maybe they'll just make it something like "Reduce any generator(s) charges by 10 while using the perk 'Invocation: Weaving Spiders'". That way you can just complete it with a BNP without actually having to use the perk.

You'll be fine. We all at one point had to endure no mither. TWICE since david had 2 tomes. We will survive this

I'd imagine it is going to get buffed by then to be more useful. I suspect they'll try upping the number back up to 15. Then if that still isn't quite working they might lower the time to do an invocation to say 90 seconds, and then potentially making the penalty of the broken stay until you are unhooked (so you basically get 1 hook state of being injured instead of the rest of the game)
After that it probably stays being relatively niche but still being coolish.
