STOP PICKING ME UP WHEN I PLOT TWIST

For the love of everything unholy learn what perks do. If I go into a corner after escaping chase and plot twist GO DO A GEN. I don't need 1 or 2 of you leading killer right back to me or you healing me out of plot twist not giving me the heal value.

End rant.

If Im near the Survivor, I normally try to heal them a bit so they can recover faster but they instantly assume Im trying to fully pick them up when Im not trying to (since SoloQ is as SoloQ does).

Obviously doing a Generator is better but seeing someone Plot Twist gives me anxiety since Im worried they will get picked up.

This happens to me all the time when I run Plot Twist (I get matched with a lot of newer Survivors that don't know about this perk).

I just let them heal me up to a point and then I hold the run button and finish off healing myself. It's a little annoying but at least they are trying to be helpful. It's still better than getting teammates that will leave you to bleed out for half the game when you've been slugged by the Killer.

One time when playing killer, a survivor Plot Twisted and I had no idea where until another survivor started healing him and I could see exactly where he was with A Nurse's Calling lmao. I didn't pick him up because I felt bad for him, but please don't heal your Plot Twisting teammates.

Oh wow, see I never knew that. So A Nurse's Calling does NOT detect a Plot Twist use? Interesting.

A Nurse's Calling affects the healing action and healing action alone (it used to also affect Doctor's Snap Out of It + Freddy's cooperative Wake Up actions, but they were also affected by things like Botany Knowledge and We'll Make It so they removed their classification as a healing action). Recovering is technically different to healing, so isn't affected by Nurse's

A Nurse's Calling is not a commonly used perk. I think Ive seen it once in the past year or so.

Hold shift when they come, it will stop them from being able to heal you

There really needs to be icons on the survivors hud for when a perk comes into play. In addition to the perks being common knowledge at the start of the game. Almo’s (or whoever it was) dumbass design idea of clueless survivors who have no information on each other stumbling around needs to go.

For example no I’m not hiding in a locker for no reason to be useless, I’m using built to last/inner strength, please stop spamming opening my locker as if ‘why are you being useless’ which incidentally makes them useless.

If you hold down Shift they can't heal you. Also, if you do not want such a situation to happen, you can use Strength in Shadows.

Still, wouldn’t be all that detrimental to things if Survivors saw each other’s perks. Just sayin

Could be offered as an option to reveal builds.

Surely tho, there are players who’ll dodge over perks, smh

I wouldn't even bother, broseph. Not just because of the anxiety you're giving to the Plot Twist user, but moreover that it's just horribly inefficient.

We are like cats. When we are in pain, we just want to hide.

but they still came all the way over and lost a ton of efficiency, plus created the risk of the killer finding the user.

what throws me off when someone plot twists is the existence of calm spirit since in both cases person went down without screaming. hopefully there will be some hud element added to tell survivors the person used plot twist in the future.

As a killer let me say don't plot twist near the hooked survivor while I'm running Friends till the end I see you with any aura build and will just snatch you up and hook you.

Reminded of a game yesterday when a David just plot twisted in EGC right outside an exit gate for no reason and wouldn't let us pick him up.

They shouldn’t be able to see your perks until you load into the game. Then they can’t lobby Dodge. Less likely to go kill themselves on hook or disconnect.

Yes, probably would be implemented that way; there’s just less chance of optimal build synergy amongst the team if perks aren’t revealed in lobby… that is, if everyone chose to be on the same page. w/o, there’s more individual freedom, also more chance for chaos to ensue.

    Nature of DBD, I’d guess
