Entity Blocking Pallets like Windows

I don't normally post stuff or say my thoughts in this game, but with the Entity now blocking Gens from the Killer damaging them too much. Can the Entity now block Pallets for a survivor the same way it does with Windows? Such as a single survivor in chase throws 3 pallets and after that all pallets are blocked for that single survivor?

I'm terrible with balancing things, but with the amount of pallets around a map and after 3 pallets being thrown in a chase that is a lot of time for survivors to work on Gens. There are also a lot of people who know how to loop efficiently and perks in the game that allow surivors to traverse the maps quickly along with Windows of Opportunity showing every location of windows/pallets.

I do main Killer a lot and have been looped for a incredible amount of time by a single survivor on several occasions. Playing as the survivor I have done this as well so I know how both sides feel. Maybe this is just an idea that could be reworked/balanced better. Also I know there are perks to help with pallets, but that is leaving a lot to chance and after the survivor finds out what perks you are using, then they can adapt on the fly making those perks useless in the process. (Spirit Fury/Enduring or Blood Favor).

Yes you can destroy the pallet and render it unusable throughout the trial, but going against a team that knows to just do gens it won't matter. Especially with the new maps where almost every single location where a pallet can spawn has one on it. If anything the only Killers that can make these loops short enough are ones who can avoid them entirely or fast enough to work around it.

I'm just saying that 1 Survivor shouldn't be able to keep looping a Killer for an entire game. With Windows of Opportunity showing every single location and almost every game where they run Adrenaline, even after you finally get a hit on them the final Gen pops and all that work was for nothing. I know if a survivor is looping you like that then maybe you should move off of them to another one. However, sometimes the second you do that then they immediately start working on gens and the cycle starts all over.

Lately almost every game I get into has just been the same thing over and over. Teams of Windows, Adrenaline and any form of exhaustion perks where they complete gens incredibly fast because I don't like to run that many slow down perks and looping forever because they just know every single pallet/window location. I even took around 2-3 months off from the game and still came back to the same style of gameplay from Survivors.

    Bloodlust is your friend pal.

No, 35 seconds for pretty much guaranteed hit is actually good depends on situations.

Certain pallets basically all but require being broken to continue chase, but conversely most of them would be a trap if you could force survivors to vault back and fourth on them

not a bad idea honestly, but im unsure if its too unfair for survivors. its well deserved for top survivors which are godly in chase but if you face against some baby survs, they cant do much without predropping all pallets

Yea. Like I'm not great with game balancing at all, but I do get tired of the constant god tier survivors being able to know exactly where all the good pallet locations are and how to precisely use them to guarantee their teammates a lot of time to work on gens. There have been a few times where I even reach Bloodlust 3 and still get looped hard. Then have to get rid of it to kick a single pallet because they reached a God Pallet.

This suggestion could be worked differently to maybe be better with low MMR survivors. Could work depending on the perks the survivors run. Like if you are using the most popular ones such as Windows, Adrenaline, the higher exhaustion perks, then this effect would be applied. However, I've ran into my fair share of survivors who don't even need those perks to know good looping locations.

I’m not sure what the answer is to this one, but I can tell you this more often than not on killer when I play, I always run brutal strength. I want to be able to snap that pallet in half ASAP. It’s especially useful on maps with a lot of pallets like the game or Hawkins even the new map.

with a the pig, I run brutal strength, enduring, spirit fury.

Yea like running perks to help with pallets can be useful from time to time, but a lot of the time if I'm not using slow down perks at the same time then gens just start flying. Plus, hate sounding like a broken record, but Windows of Opportunity will just let them find all the rest of the pallets available to them.

terrible idea. it would make looping really bad and make the survivors experience that is already a nightmare even worse.

I totally feel you there. Trust me I really do. In my MMR they rushed my generators so fast.

sorry for making you repeat yourself again.

You're fine. I don't mind. But yea like I said this is something as to more of a suggestion. It could be good, could be bad. Always can be changed or altered in some way. I know that lower MMR this could hurt really badly, but in High MMR something feels like this could be done. Or something at least. We already have to micromanage time and everything, now the Entity blocks the gens after we kick it too much. Could get a small something for Killers. 😅
