Now they all run Lightborn instead. May as well delete Torches from the Bloodweb. What are Survivor meant to do besides hold M1?

    Shadowborn wasn't used that much. For a long time their functions were that Shadowborn increased the FOV and Lightborn countered flashlights. The perks have nothing in common except their names both end with "born."

    No one is suddenly running Lightborn because the game added an FOV slider. You're either a player who loves Lightborn for making the game less arduous (most killers I see use it are on console) or you think Lightborn is garbage because walls exist. If there's an increase in Lightborn usage right now, it's probably because of the Tome challenges.

    Most killer players I know will actually recommend to NOT use lightborn, since there are ways to play around attempted flashlight saves and players stalking you for a flashlight save means they aren't doing a gen. Lightborn doesn't need to be touched.
