What do you think about gift of pain getting this buff
Increase the mangled and hemorrhage status effects from 90 seconds to 180 seconds
this perk‘s nerf is the most brutal one out of all the sloppy butcher perks and this perk is very impossible to proc with how it relies on RNG in order to gain value from it
and most importantly this perks secondary effect now feels somewhat useless as survivors can just 99 their heals and when they’re about to go down they just fully heal and completely avoid the penalty effect and this wasn’t possible back then cause perma hemorrhage made it impossible to 99 the healing bar due to that it regressed the healing every-time

Honestly its probably the one perk i could see still having no duration personally. Its a bit of work and just sucks now with the duration.

Agreed
this perk should have perma mangled and hemorrhage
it’s a scourge hook perk and it takes time to get full value out of it and in comparison to sloppy this perk got the most brutal nerf of all

It should just be reverted. It was the one perk that should’ve been exempt from the mangled changes

Agreed on that too

Nope we already suffer enough with heal nerfs for medkits/circle/self care. There is nurses calling if people have a problem with people healing up which I see most killers specially stealth ones run anyway.

I think you missed the point of post
- its not about having a problem with survivors healing it’s the fact that gift of pain has been overnerfed and survivors can just bypass all its effects and make it useless so your nurses calling argument has no actual point
- most people who use gift of pain mostly use it for it’s secondary effect (16% penalty when fully healed until injured)
- the perk is a scourge hook and it should have a strong effect but with its current nerfed state both of its effects are now useless with how survivors will just 99 their heals and tank a hit at full health pretty much making the perk as a whole useless

Pretty much this. I don't know why BHVR went with complete consistency with Mangled, they are completely capable of making Mangled last indefinitely until healed, proven by Myers' Exposed status effect lasting indefinitely in the status HUD until his tier 3 runs out. GoP is the one perk that shouldn't have been affected by the Mangled changes.

I did not though you mention mangled and hemorrhage being increased to 180 seconds, which sound like healing complaints, hence why I mention nurses calling. Yeah I do agree though that what they could do is not even let it be a scourge hook no more to at least let it feel viable to use.

A perk that isn't effective on non stealth killers and is countered by distortion.

I don’t think healing needs more nerfs.

Umm nurses can burn distortion stacks very quickly like gearhead unless the survivor is running a fast heal build like botany and strength in shadows, cause even strength of shadows I lost 2 tokens to nurses while healing(without botany)

I said it earlier
it’s not about the healing nerfs
its about the fact that gift of pain is useless with the current mangled and hemorrhage change which makes both of its effects useless and to top it all
it’s a scourge hook which means it’s very rng reliant that you will barely get any value out of it
atleast SB and mangled addons can be applied multiple times
gop takes time to apply to all survivors

Distortion is fine. Its become the new flavor for killers to complain about.
GoPain is really kind of pathetic after the mangled changes. While I don't want to give killers more power since, you know, they're overpowered and boring currently, this does need looked at. Its definitely not a perk someone who want to win uses now.

I would just remove mangled/hemorrhage effect and just make it apply 16% healing debuff and gen debuff when your hooked. very simple change.

I think the whole manged/hemorrhage changes were not necessary. By nerfing the only good tools killers have to counter healing, it just weakens hit and run strategies which are already weak.
