Can someone tell me what chilli does? (Bubba add-ons)
Hi guys, I'm main bubba, I really like playing as him with instasaw or with beast marks. I have 600 hours on dbd which 200 of them are probably only playing as LF. The problem is that I still don't know what the f**** chilli add-ons do. Do someone know? I tested them on a few games but I couldn't appreciate any difference between having them or not.

I believe how they function is when you activate it, you get a short burst of speed. There has been forum posts in the past though that have stated this may not actually function. I do not play Leatherface, so my comment may not be valid as I don’t play him but have touched him a bit for his perks, but I believe that’s how they function, rather than giving you bonus speed, it just shoots you out for a short few seconds, similar to the Spirit exiting her phase walk.

Chili Add-ons are supposed to allow you to hit your maximum movement speed faster while using the Chainsaw attack.
Which in turn means you should be able to cover more distance while using the Chainsaw attack.
However, currently the Add-ons do apply the effect, but it's very very very very very very very minimal.
Unless it's fixed by now, but i don't think so.

These add-ons actually do not work as they should. And even the developers mentioned it, so they will most likely be redone. But I noticed that purple chilli works well in conjunction with addon mark of beast.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm glad I'm not the only who doesn't understand their functionality. And yeah, I hope they remake these add-ons together with those which reduce the sound of the chainsaw. They are pretty useless.
And let's hope for a bubba buff soon!! :)

when you start your chainsaw attack, you will start slow but go up to his maximum movement speed. the chili add ons simply allow him to reach this maximum movementspeed faster.

Let me quote a QA dev for you: "The Chilli Add-ons do something, but it's not noticeable".

Basically when Bubba throws his tantrum, he starts slow and slowly get faster, the chili makes it so you reach max speed faster, it's not very noticeable unless you use a speed addons like the knife engravings.

+1 Mr Tum Tums needs to be shown some love. Alot of his addons could use a rework and he as a killer in general needs to be buffed. I imagine his Chili addons will be fixed when the devs sit down and look at improving Bubba like they did with Trap Daddy and Bing Bong Boi.

@op they're supposed to increase the rate at wich he regains his 115% movement speed during the chainsaw attack. They don't work, though, mainly because Leatherface himself is bugged.
