I already miss the bonus bloodpoints from the event.
The event ended not even a hour ago and I'm so used to the bonus points, I expected 150-200k per match but now I'm only getting about 25k and it feels awful. 😞
I have a feeling people are going to run a lot of bloodpoint offerings (including myself) now since the bonuses are now gone.

Yea that event (the 300% and 400% bonus) rly kept me coming back but now its time to play more backlog games (singleplayer mostly).

Same the event in general kept me grinding for a long-long time haha. I managed to get my Sable to P39 because of the event, I need the 400% to be permanent haha.

I played my last match of the event 10 min before it ended. Used the blood orbs and all that and got the multipliers but cuz the match ended 3 minutes after the end, it gave us none of the BP multipliers or the extra event points. 😐
If we are already in the match before event ends we should still get the event bonus at the end. But oh well.12 -
That would've made me really mad. They should make the 400% bloodpoint bonus permanent, the grind without it is dreadful, it would make everything so much better.

Mm was pretty crazy. Last 3 days I played for almost 30 hours and all event around 50 hours. I used more than 200 terrormisus on Gariel Soma..have only 1240 left on him 😐️😄

I don't really see the appeal of it. I already have all perks unlocked and plenty of items on the characters i play, and p100 is pointless to me.

Mind sharing what you’ve been playing?
Ive personally been doing Modded Terraria (Calamity Mod, Magic Storage, Boss Checklist and Recipe Browser), Risk of Rain: Returns, and a decent bit of Warframe since we got new content recently. Oh yea, and Helldivers 2.

Honestly, same. The 400% bonus at the end was really making a difference, and it will be hard to play without it.
If only we still had BBQ and WGLF… they would help a lot.

Didn’t really bother with any of the blood oriented event gameplay either, just played regular matches and thoroughly enjoyed leveling up characters.
These 400% or more BP booster events need to happen more frequently (like, every month or at least every 2 months). Doesn’t even need to be a ‘blood event’ or anything; that’s all fine if Devs make it a full event, but seriously, Just hook players up w the 400%+ BP boosters more often.

Funny is if they create perk that does only BP part of BBQ, I would play with it…

This. I was in the middle of the match when the event ended, and got stomped by the killer. I was thinking at least I’ll still get some decent BP out of the ordeal, but only came back to 10k on the results screen.

Yeah I played a game after the event and got 10,000 points and said no thanks.
I'll be done with dbd until another event, the games aren't worth the reward

Same, I think a lot of people were annoyed by the event, but the grind was reduced so much I sorta fell in love with it.

Yep, that's why I stop playing for a few days after an event in order to normalize expectations.

I came back to DBD solely because of the event, the grind was so less painful. Getting barely past 20k BPS per match makes me die inside when I got almost 200k every GAME during the event. The current state of bloodpoint earning is so bad, it needs to be increased.

I found myself kinda annoyed tbh because I wanted to play more killer in the event, but wanted to put BP into survivor so constantly spending BP was a bit of a chore. Felt really tempted to just stay at 2 mill BP the whole time.
I'm just happy that I don't need to spend BP all the time anymore. I earned so much BP that I don't really care that I earn 0 BP in My Little Oni

Its rough going back to default for sure, makes me realise that the standard BP for matches is not enough anymore and they need to increase it yet again. Or bring back tokens for BBQ and WGLF for those of us who were BP Andy's

There was no issue with BBQ or WGLF having the bloodpoint bonus, in fact it made games so much more worth playing since your being rewarded more points for doing the objective. Them removing it was the most ridiculous thing they ever did.

Perhaps not the worst change we've ever seen, but hell it is a contender. Those two perks should be reverted.

That's the reason why I usually have a break after an event with a lot of BP bonus. After seeing high numbers during several days/weeks you feel underwhelmed when you see only 25-50k at the end of the match. Takes time to get used to the small numbers again, haha.

Yeah I didn't buy the whole excuse of you're getting more BP now so you won't need the extra from these perks.
I don't think I am alone in that for some reason I got enormous satisfaction out of getting all 4 stacks on those perks for killer and survivor and BBQ being popular was a good thing, as it encourages killers to actually leave hooks and pursue those juicy survivors whose auras they just saw in the distance…

They did compensate giving 100% bonus for less played side and they lessened bp cost bit though it's not quite enough now especially on survivor. Prove thyself hard carried my bp earnings but now that's gone too survivor bp scores should be increased. Some killers need increase too wraith gets a lot of bp but bubba not much at all. I would like the average bp per match be close to 100K with 100% bonus. The limited game modes need 250% bonus.

Blood Hunts should honestly just drop every weekend. Two days of double bloodpoints every weekend.
I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back old BBQ, I would do anything for that 4th BBQ token even if it means I lose the game. Hell, I wouldn't be opposed to making it base-kit to a degree either, replacing the auras with killer instinct and making the bloodpoint bonus baseline. Not to mention WGLF, which encouraged survivors to safely unhook instead of farming with Borrowed Time.

Every weekend would be awesome, not only it will reduce the grind a bit, but it will encourage people to play. Though I do believe the base bloodpoint gain should be increased.

It was also a great perk for anti-tunneling since it encourages you to gain the four stacks, for more points. It was the best designed perk they made in my opinion because it was useful both grind, and gameplay wise. Like you said, they should revert both.

BBQ alone was the best perk they've ever designed, and there was no reason to change it. Same with WGLF, of course.

It's also mind-boggling that the events bloody eye, ie the BP offering, was bugged from day and they didn't manage to fix it is time. A bug is an bug, we could life with that, but they didn't remove the eye from the blood webs, forever teasing me if it might be worth to get them, just in case the eyes got fixed mid-event.
I hibernate believed that they worked at the very least let the event run a day or two longer, but nothing on that front happened. Sadge.
And yeah, I pretty much agree, all the normal BP gains we now get feel depressing... so in the end BHVR was right with their claims that we would drown in BP this event.

I agree. I get why they removed it, because of the matchmaking incentive. But when you want to play killer, it sucks when the incentive is not in your favor. You get nothing then. With BBQ you at least could get 100% BP for the match.
I would be okay if they made an universal BP perk for survivor and killer, without ANY benefit. I believe the main reason BBQ was complained about, was the aura reading (when in fact, most killers run that perk because of the BP and the aura reading was a nice bonus). I would play killer with 3 perks if I could get 100% BP in the end with the universal perk.

Give a variety of basekit bp bonuses plus removing depipping. Add weekend bloodnanza and that would be nice.

The event let me prestige so much. I got one million bloodpoints every 4-5 matches or so, now it takes forever to even get 100k bloodpoints, the current state of the grind is terrible!
