Has BHVR been secretly tinkering with the MMR again?
ya,
constantly losing doesn't feel good…. everyone knows it… and i felt it…
No tunneling, no high MMR (thats how i see it). I don't know about you, but the matches I currently have as a killer are extremely sweaty. The generators are blowing up in my face with every build. Are healing items still worth it? ....
I only see Lithe, Resilience, Adrenaline and DS, DH in combination with flashlights, toolboxes e.g
the matches are just crazy these days. Sure Survivors are getting better with the time, but you can't have matches (no matter what kind of killer you play) that are always this hard. I don't even win 5 matches in a row with a single killer.... I just can't imagine my MMR should be that high.
Do you really have to tunnel a target to even have a chance at a 3k? ....
I'm feeling very stressed and i think the best i can do is to make a short break this WE 🤯
any of you with the same EXP ?

or is it just me? I could be wrong. In any case, the break is doing me a lot of good. I already feel much more relaxed

Theyve been tinkering around with MMR quite a lot recently. And at times I wouldn't be surprised if they actually used Grades as matchmaking with how wild it is.
EDIT: i was wrong

I’ve been tinfoil hat wondering if they’ve been tinkering with it as well. The matches lately have felt ultra sweaty. Many matches against 4 man sweat squads and killers going straight for the tunnel out right at 5 gens. It feels like a palpable difference. Those matches used to just be here and there but now it’s been like back to back multiple.

I feel like it has become more strict for sure, I frequently will get the same people in my lobbies and Im in the US so I don't think its because of a lack of players

We've made no adjustments to MMR recently, the last one was October 2023 when we made adjustments to the soft cap.

And here I was convinced they Mandyd something...

I am very much of the belief that MMR effectively doesn't exist outside of peak hours and the game clearly prioritises speedy match making over accuracy.
I am mostly okay with that as I like the chaos of wide variations in experience but I admit at times it can create some frustrating matches. My last match I was put in a lobby with a player with just under 60 hours while I am at over 4k hours… For the record, I actually went into that match regardless and both me and the baby survivor escaped (on RPD).
