I've just went against a squad that were genuinely angry at me for playing Scratched Mirror Myers

I've been getting kinda bored with the usual DBD playstyle so I decided to just goof around by switching to Myers and using the Scratched Mirror addon to be silly and give people a few good scares, I didn't even bring any OP build and I was just playing for the full fun time not even caring if I get any hooks, I sent the survivors to Midwich and after the match is over I thought we had pretty much a good time (I got 1 person dead on hook) but in the end-game chat they were genuinely pissed at me calling me cringe etc. I thought that Scratched Mirror Myers always brings out the best in people but I guess I was wrong.

    I utterly hate going against scratch mirror. It's really boring and I don't recall ever being scared by it. It's a really predictable playstyle and most of them refuse to chase, eventually down someone and then just hook camp.

    And you send them to an awful map on top of it.

    But like, yeah, they shouldn't have been horrible to you in the end game chat.

    I think SM Myers was better to go against when the game had a proper horror atmosphere, but he is still a fun killer to go against.

    Always good to have some jumpscares in DBD.

    Also, it’s not a refusal to chase it’s just quite literally almost impossible to legit chase someone with Tier 1 Myers lol.

    So i saw this thread and thought, no way who could hate mirror myers they are so fun! The only time you will ever be genuinely jump scared, I then loaded up a game to play as mirror myers with Monitor, Tinkerer, Machine Learning, and Trail of torment.

    This was the endgame after I asked if they would rather me play as Nurse lmfao

    Of course they refuse to chase. Its tier 1 Michael. He's not a chaser. The whole purpose of the build is for jump scares. If it was a chaser build then they wouldn't burn indoor maps. They could chase you on any map.

    Scratched mirror is fun to play and play against IMO. But even the most fun things are not going to be universally loved by everyone. Especially in Dbd.

    IMO it depends on how you play this Killer. Going around for Jumpscares or Gengrabs is fun. But 9 out of 10 Mirror Myers I encounter (which is rare anyway) just think "Hurr durr, undetectable, I camp".

    DBD people are so amusing

    I got hella salt-chunks of aggravation chatted at me for “Playing Abusively! and Toxically!” w only Scratched Mirror, BF’s Memo, Franklins and Spies.

    They took Gideon and just unfortunately got lobbied w the scenario that didn’t really suit them🤷🏼‍♀️

    What’s hilarious is the thing that really pissed them off, which they were venting about the most, was that I Demised all their items so they couldn’t use them😄

    Like what the heck!?😆

    DBD players are silly

    Mirror Myers is just very tedious to go against, he can't chase so you just leave gens early and camp check spots and he can't do anything. I don't think it's fun for either side tbh.
