Give us a mini rift between rifts
I hate this down time between rifts. It's like I want to play but there's nothing to accomplish.

No offense dude but that just sounds like you don't like the gameplay but just the feeling of completing something/doing work... Otherwise give yourself some challenges... For example Pebble recoil challenge.

Some people still remember the times, when games were played just for playing the game. Not for some battle passes, events or FOMO cosmetics… oh dear, I'm old.

Same... Remember when you paid for actual content and not some ridiculous looking outfits? That was when gaming went the wrong way... When cosmetic dlcs got introduced, especially in single player games.

I mean sure, I guess BHVR will be delighted to be able to sell more premium content with the same FOMO stuff that is up and coming nowadays. Can't really blame them, if I was a company I d also try to earn money.
Why not introduce weekly challenges? Aside from a rift that only feeds this FOMO stuff... Like sacrifice 100 survivors or get a 3 K with a random build, stuff like that would be nice without being tied to some time limited shananigans.

My suggestion was more about challenges than the actual Rift. Like an expansion on the daily rituals to elaborate.

You asked for a rift... Not for a tome, but for a rift... So the thing you can level up and get either cosmetics or BP... Soooo that's why we assumed that.

Thats a better idea, should have elaborated a bit more on what you actually wanted ^^ Like I said something like weekly challenges would be Allright, but I don't see a reason to time limit it. Since it will be a bigger achievement to get they could earn you way more BP or shards or something. Building up on the daily challenges is a decent idea, might motivate players to commit until the challenge is done.

This game would benefit from more daily/weekly goals unrelated to Rifts.
