Let's get rid of EBONY Mori and Keys?
I'm the only one who wants both removed? They are absolutly screwing the balance in a match of equally skilled players.
EDIT: I'm only talking about EBONY mori, green and yellow are fine.

Do you seriously want to remove moris? The only thing that allows us to slaughter Survivors? You gotta be kidding.

Moris look nice tho. I would replace third hook with Moris.

You're not the only one who wants them removed, but I disagree with the justification. Items are not offerings, and Memento Mori are one of the few things that put the horror in this asymmetrical horror game.
EDIT: Also, Mori animations kick ass.

EBONY mori only, green and yellow are fine (yellow to weak needs a rework imo)

Getting rid of moris would essentially be like getting rid of what makes a Killer unique. People love Killers for their abilities and design, but seeing moris really lets you feel something strong towards that Killer and their strengths. Moris aren’t fair for Survivors, yes, and Keys aren’t fair for Killers. What I would suggest is getting rid of Keys from chests in-game and remove the offerings that allow them to keep the key if they die on hook or use them to unlock the hatch. I would THEN suggest reworking on mori’s function, having them be used when a Survivor is on their second hook or when all the gens are powered. This is just my opinion though on these two, but seeing any rework or change to these two would be a nice QoL change.

Green mori would still exit, imo it's quite fair. Yellow mori is pretty much useless, I would rework that tho, but that's a different topic.

But my friend, I was only talking about removing Ebony mori (the ultra rare version to kill all 4), I would still keep green mori as it is.

Still no :)

@HavelmomDaS1 Ahh, sorry then. Yeah, perhaps reworking Ebony moris would be nice, but removing them doesn’t seem like the way to go. Maybe changing it to where you’re allowed to kill all Survivors once all gens are powered would be neat, but idk. :/

But why tho? Isn't it better to sacrifice a little bit on both sides for better health and balance of DbD?

There are lobbies where Killers require Ebony Moris to even out the imbalances that are provided by voice communication.
Ebony Moris are also quite rare and expensive so they're not as much of a problem as items that you can casually find during normal gameplay for free.

idk about you but most mori's I run into are yellow mostly. You get occasional greens and ebonies but honestly it isn't that many of games that somebody brings a key or mori honestly. Unless you're swf some people save up ebonies for those people.

Moris should be changed to 3rd hook and be basekit in that case. The offering could be redesigned in something different. Keys could also be changed, instead of opening the hatch they should open gates faster. Green keys (15 seconds instead of 20), purple keys (10 seconds instead of 20) and pink keys could open them instant. So no midgame crutch escape in that case. Make the gates open backwards, so the handle is still on the left side, but instead of making the animation opening the gate from left to right they could make it from right to left so Survivors can't squish themselves trough that little gap and escape cuz of their greediness.

All mori offerings should be removed and the mori animations should be perk/addon only. Wanna know why survivors DC whenever they see one? Because it's not worththe effort to try in a game where you have no chance of living or countering something like that.
The same goes for keys. They're uncounterable and end the game too quickly.

"There are lobbies where Killers require Ebony Moris to even out the imbalances that are provided by voice communication."
You don't need an Ebony Mori to win a difficult match. Assuming you play Billy (based on your profile pic), he's pretty strong and should get a 2k (benchmark). You don't need a 3k or a 4k to win since the general aim is a 2k.

if we're getting rid of all keys, then get rid of all moris. or keep the cypress mori and green key :)

I never said you need an Ebony Mori to win a difficult match. I said an Ebony Mori is sometimes required to even out possible imbalanced provided by voice communication. You even copied what I typed but still managed to miss the point ^^
What's considered win or loss is solely based on an individuals opinion. The result isn't even relevant here, the important part is that an even playground is provided and nothing else. It's not like you can't win against an Ebony Mori and it's also not like you can't win against a 4x SWF. That's not the point.

I feel like your point of evening out imbalances is way for you to justify being a bad killer...
Dont know if you realize this but Moris have no counter and revoke survivors of any chance at winning. Is it possible to win against an ebony? Sure. But is it worth the effort? Not at all. It wastes my time. Especially since survivors get little BP as it is.
Keys are the same thing. No counter, no skill, not worth trying to win against it when it denies you of BP anyway.

I guess you're right, I'm an incredibly bad Killer and I try to hide that fact from myself by calling out the imbalances that voice communication provides.
Still: What you said could word by word be said about SWFs with voice communication. There is no counter to voice communication. It's possible to win but is it worth the effort?
Voice communication is not even part of the game but I think Ebony Moris are a way to even out the imbalances voice communication comes with. That's my statement. Keys are irrelevant, I never mentioned them. Random Ebony Moris to stomp noobs are irrelevant, I never mentioned that either.
All I said was that Ebony Moris are sometimes required to even out lobbies that would otherwise be unbalanced. And I stick with that. I played enough 4x SWFs with experienced teammates to realize that even an Ebony Mori won't stop us from 3-4x escaping.
