UE5 Engine update was a big mistake

  • I am getting unnecessary stuttering everytime I hook a survivor. Almost like the server is validating my movement away from hook and saying I hadn't completed the act
  • The new resolution for Xbox Series S is an atrocity against humanity. I have to run FSR at 100 sharpness for it to look even a bit similar to the old UE engine, otherwise it feels like I'm looking at the game with astigmatism underwater with mega ghosting
  • RPD has a weird stilted platform that prevents me from kicking the generator on top of main stairs
  • I am getting vacuumed back onto ledges I am either supposed to be falling off of or vaulting
  • I am teleporting every match at one point or another, and getting told I have packetloss when my network is fine

Priority needs to be stabilizing the server validation first and foremost. I can deal with lowered resolution until proper optimizations come out. But something has to give. I am actively telling people to not play DBD until the game is actually fixable.

    I am also getting constant stuttering throughout gameplay, whereas I literally never had more than one or two stutters or frame drops in my entire time playing the game before this point. I am on a high end PC by the way so it's not an issue on my end.
