Naughty Bears smile Doc's hallucination and spirits jump Effect
Why did they remove the effects of Naughty Bear smile Doc's hallucination and spirits jumpscare ?
0:07 - 0:11 Spirit
2:25 - 2:35 Doctor
Where is Naughty Bear's smile? A bug perhaps ? It's part of the outfit and the Mori animation…..
I know the stuff for Spirit and for the Doc is a bit older, but I would be interested. After all, those effects were really cool and you can't please everyone. These are the things that make DBD feel even cooler

They got rid of the Doc thing for accessibility reasons
No idea why they didnt just make it a setting

because they have to bend the knee to all these people who signed up for a HORROR game.
I understand epilepsy is a big issue but like you said why ruin the fun of everyone? Just make a toggle setting for docs visuals.7 -
Isnt Spirit only old Prayer Beads? Which was a really imbalanced Add On. (For those who dont know, Prayer Beads completely removed the Phasing Sound)

As Shroompy mentioned, the doctor hallucinations were removed for accessibility reasons, now you just have the static but not the doctor face.
Spirit's post phase "blink in" animation should still be in the game, if it isn't it is a bug with this patch.
Same with Naughty Bear's smile, if removed it is also a bug.

that would be a great suggestion for the feedback forum, wouldn't it?

something that irritates the crap out of me is that they never make these potential sensory issue effects something that’s a toggle that’s automatically off nope just completely remove it

Yes, that bothers me too. A function for switching on and off must actually be the solution
