I want to make friends in this game
but its so hard when everything you type in chat is censored, I dont get why a game about murder is censored like it is
I cant even say the phrase, I have not watched it

Your first mistake was to try to make friends in a multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight of all things. People are generally horrible, but multiplayer gamers are the worst. Don't waste your time on people. Adopt a dog.

Making friends over games is something lots of people do because believe it or not: people arent as bad as most make them out to be. Just like irl, there are some bad eggs but you know what you can do in both situations? Ignore them.

IRL, bad eggs made 99% of Earth population. Don't wanna bring the current global events into discussion, but it's solid proof that "people aren't as bad as they seem" is nothing more than a myth.

Even though most people are "bad eggs", it doesn't stop them all from making friends and be not so bad to each other. 4 rotten to the core people could make a decent SWF, for example, which they usually do. Although indeed, trying to find friends in DbD is not an efficient way to do so, where in every soloQ game all 4 other players are your opponents, no matter which role you play.

That's not making friends. The moment their "friend" inconveniences them or trips their ego, they'd throw them under the bus and salt the ground.

I myself have made several friends online throughout the years, 2 of which are some of my best friends since middleschool and were gonna be meeting eachother for the 3rd time in the summer. Because of DbD as well Ive met another group about 4 years ago and were all still going strong, and thanks to that Im currently in a 6 month long relationship, who Im also going to be meeting in the summer.
The world is doom and gloom if you let it be. There are some horrible things out there, but there are also great things. What you see depends on what lenses you chose.

This chat censor is definitely a bit draconian but honestly beforehand it was so much worse. You couldn't go 2 matches without being called a slur or having all kinds of ill will wished upon your frail, ailing grandmother who's just trying to bake some cookies three doors down. If I've got the option between the current system and the lawless wasteland of previously, I'll take the current one.

Tried something once. I typed the curse version of poop. It got censored. When I capitalized the S, it went through just fine. lmao
