Wiggle Check Fraud

Hello, I am here for a simple complaint. My complaint is that our wiggle checks almost never win. You can hit as many great skill checks as possible, but you will never get off unless your teammates hit them with fireworks or a flashlight. It’s unfair for us as survivors that we have no way to jump off a killer unless our teammates assist us.

Great skill checks increase the sway that wiggling causes, not make it go faster. You're not supposed to wiggle free of the killer without help unless the killer gets greedy or use perks.

This mechanic is there for SWFs, especially for bully squads. As soloQ you can just ignore it.

That’s assuming people are playing on coordinated teams every game. However, most are not playing in full squads unless they have friends or use the discord. I duo que or trio que with my friends. Flashlight doesn’t always work & neither do fireworks at times. Wiggle check doesn’t guarantee safety either. You can still get hunted down & hooked. I understand the point you’re trying to convey, but this isn’t realistic for the average DBD player that solo, duo, or trio ques.

The Thing is that SWFs isn’t as common as you believe. There is a large percentage of the player base doing solo ques, duo ques, trio ques. SWFs are also never guaranteed a win just because they can communicate, just provides a minor advantage.

Every hook doesn’t need to be a basement hook when the hooks are 5 - 10 FT distances within each other. You act as if the hooks are separated within long distances. They are not. Texas chainsaw massacre is an example that if three killers are going against three survivors, killers win every time. This is just an objective truth. If DBD had 3 killers, no survivor would win. Breaking free from a wiggle check doesn’t mean you won’t get hooked. Killer can still catch up and down you.

Killers are always running perks unless it’s a new killer they are leveling up. I don’t see why you mentioned that as if anyone would willingly play without perks. Don’t even get me started on killers camping hooks which makes the game far less enjoyable when you can’t even rescue your teammates without sacrifice. Don’t give me wiggle checks if I can’t save myself.

Killer would still be able to finish his objective cause wiggle checks do not determine player safety. It may waste time for other survivors to get out pr finish generators, but it provides the player who broke free no benefits. He/She will get caught again & possibly hooked.

It does provide a minor advantage. Take it from someone who does play SWF. Communication doesn’t always mean victory. Especially when killers are camping hooks or tunneling survivors. Don’t even get me started on survivors that sabotage the team on purpose.

"Meant to work" - Not really. Perfect wiggle skill checks used to reduce carry time for 1 second (as in, hitting all of them reduced one single second of total carry time). That's how it was meant to work.

But people complained reducing carry time for 1 second was extremely overpowered and that killers were losing legitimately earned kills because they couldn't reach scourge hooks in the middle of the map so now wiggling skill checks do nothing.

Which, honestly, I wish they just removed them like they removed the button spam on last hook if it's not going to do anything anyway. It's just stupid and useless. Just make survivors wiggle passively and press F to stop wiggling for things like pity hatch. The whole minigame is pointless right now.
