Insta-Blind Flashlights SHOULD Come Back...

BUT...okay, just wanted to say so before I get chewed up by all the Killer mains. I don't think the original Insta-Blinds should come back but rather a reworked version of such. You see, survivor items, such as Flashlights, have always been kinda...dull. And if not dull, not as useful but lets stick with dull. Besides the Lens Add-Ons creating the literal stick of heaven, flashlights don't have alot of variety. I think Insta-Blinds add that variety but lets discuss how to balance it properly.

You see, in a previous patch a few years ago, a Flashlight click buffer was added to stop flashlights from getting spammed to an oblivion. This already balances out Insta-Blinds to stop them from being spammable.

Second, I think Insta-Blinds should deplete very quickly. Maybe about 4 clicks a normal rare flashlights is how much use you can get. Even with a Battery Add-On, maybe it could add an extra charge or 2, meaning you couldn't use the Insta-Blind whenever you wanted or it will run out quickly.

"But what if they bring Built-To-Last and/or Streetwise?" Well, thats 2 perks dedicated to preserving a flashlight. Thats more of a lose for the survivor for not bringing more useful perks so I think this balances it out.

"What if a bunch of survivors bring a bunch to bully me?" People will always find ways to bully. Plus they would love the game and nearly all of their flashlight charges bullying you.

"But what if--" ssshhhhhh....what if I kidnapped your family--

Overall, I think survivor items should be reworked to have more variety and versitility and I think Insta-Blinds would be fun to use (maybe not for killer lol)

Thoughts?

Possibly the worst idea ever. Insta Blinds are not and will never be healthy. I would say you can bring insta blinds back if the survivor who blinds you becomes exposed for 60 seconds BASEKIT but even then that’s not big enough penalty. Flashlight saves already require zero skill, no need to make it even less.

If you want instant blinds, you have flashbangs.
