Why does Superior Anatomy have a cooldown when bamboozle doesn't?
Considering it is in the shrine right now I figured I would ask the community how they feel about it. I have always considered superior anatomy to be a worst bamboozle in most cases, and on top of needing to be within 8m of a survivor it has a cooldown unlike bamboozle. I'm just not sure why it has a cooldown let alone one that is 30 seconds, if it really must have one why not be 15 or 10?

Bamboozle's vault speed is only really good when you vault close to the survivor and if the vault in question is the only safe one around.
Superior Anatomy's speed opens up more wiggle room just by itself. Stacked even more so.

SA shortens chase way more then bamboozles window blocking

I feel like that GREATLY depends on the tile though, superior anatomy might make some tiles harder to play around but bamboozle is a lot more consistent

Depends but lets not forget Bamboozle only lasts 16 seconds which good survivors can easily outlast

True but if your chases are lasting longer than bloodlust one you are losing the game anyways

I don't believe Bamboozle is use for it's vault speed. As long as the totem remains, Crowd Control is a better Bamboozle. Because some perks have similar effects doesn't make them worse or better versions of others.

Do you feel like the 30 second cooldown with an 8m condition is fair or would you adjust the cooldown or get rid of the 8m requirement? Genuinely curious if people think the perk is fine as is

8m is so a survivor farther than that doesn't waste the perk.
30s is for the same reason bamboozle only blocks one window.

Interesting point on the 8m but I still think killers would get value vaulting even past that range, if 30s is for the same reason bamboozle blocks one window I find it strange the 'cooldown' is twice bamboozles length, but good to see other perspectives

why does Thwack require a hook and for a pallet to be down to get some aura reading when knowhere to hide just requires a gen kick. Idk

Thwack makes survivors scream, interrupting actions, denying distortion, potentially causing missed skill checks, has a 32 meter radius instead of 24 and has a fixed aura read.
meanwhile Nowhere to Hide, completely countered by distortion, 24 meter radius, requires a Gen kick, requires the killer to move in one direction to try and make the most use out of it, doesn’t cause screaming, doesn’t interrupt actions and can get anywhere from 6 to 1 second of aura reading.0 -
because superior anatomy is new perk and bamboozle is 2017-2018 perk. that is why. every new perk that dev release is purposely bad.
If bamboozle was 2024, it would have cooldown and superior anatomy would have no cooldown.

I believe this perk should have 75%, like Singu in overclock, then cd will be understandable. Currently it barely gives you any value, especially in shack.

They do different things that's why. Bam is used to make very strong windows unplayable and the 15% isn't enough to make vaulting in general get you hits just forces them to leave. Superior anatomy is to catch out a survivor by following through a long window loop or mindgaming them towards a window you vault. Superior anatomy would be pretty strong if it had a 10-15s cooldown maybe 20-25s and a larger distance for activating the perk.
