How long should one wait to play after rank reset?

or rather rank re-sweats. First day of reset is always the same thing. Killers tunneling, camping, slugging x10, and survivors either giving up on first hook or urban evasioning around map letting teammates die.
How many days is a good time frame to wait for things to settle?

Players stop doing these things in your matches after some time after grade resets???!
… lucky you.(Though I still haven’t seen survivors literally urban evading around the maps edges from match beginning.. is that actually a thing? I have witnessed everything else multiple times..)

I thought the "re-sweat" happens days before the reset. Or at least what it feels like to me.

I'm still surprised ppl still call it rank reset for almost 2 years now. It's not called rank anymore, they are grades, which has no effect in your placements with other ppl. That's MMR. And even then, the system will place you with anyone as a last resort to prevent waiting too long for a lobby.

no point in waiting, your grade (ash-Iri) isn't how matchmaking works anymore. It hasn't worked like that for a while now.

I think OP wasn’t directly talking about matchmaking being affected by it but just players sweating after grade reset to then again get grade progress again for the BP rewards..

Since it's not for matchmaking I don't think grade reset actually has any impact on how people play at all.

I haven't noticed a change in sweaty playstyles for awhile now.

While grades reset your MMR does not. You will be matched with the same player next week as you would today.

For me, the sweats come out a few days before and a few days after reset. They'll calm down before the first week is out

Why not just play?
I don’t think how recently the reset took place has that much of an impact on how some folks choose to play.

Same! I blame the game for not informing their players well enough about what anything means.
