How do I counter Nurse
I seriously am drawing blanks. She's hitting me milliseconds after her blink meaning I can't move out of the way like I was able to when I first started playing and using objects in the map don't work since well most times she teleports through them while if I play Nurse nope somehow a rock stops me dead in my tracks. Yes I get if she does the whole holding breath thing it means a long blink will come but that rarely happens. The main problem is her hitting me after a blink I don't have any time to react to it since if I vault it's a free hit, hiding in a locker and then jumping back out is also a free hit. I rarely survive Nurse because her power seems to mess with hit validation any time I face her.

Playing nurse actually gets pretty fun and intense of you know how to play her right. It's more simple than you think, hug objects, obscure line of sight, fake one direction and go the other. To break this down.
- Depending on the skill of the nurse just run towards her, FOV tech her and then run away, this will only work against low skill nurses.
- This is where it gets fun, hug objects, get as tight as possible to walls and trees, go from tree to tree, don't worry about pallets or windows.
- Cut off line of sight. Pair this with hugging objects, go behind walls and trees while hugging these objects.
- After breaking line of sight, fake one direction and go the other. For example, you ran behind a rock going east, stop running for a sec, then run back west. Shell try to predict your running path since she can't see you, so just double back.
If she's on top of you you can try your best to 360 but her lunge kind locks on to you so good luck. Honestly, just hold W and keep running, 360ing causes you getting hit more than not when going against nurse
Hope this helps

Hens has a quick guide how to play her on YouTube, I recommend you watch it, but the tldr would be along the lines of break line of sight and make distance, also don't fall in a pattern of what you do after breaking line of sight.

You don't.

You wait until they come to their senses and finally rework her. If she's good enough then you just die and the game ends. Even comp level survivors are expected to lose against a good nurse.

Maybe not a god a nurse, but the average one you encounter in public matchmaking can be outplayed...

Maybe, but they usually get to 1 Gen... And with the anti 3 Gen in place I would not be too sure about it...

REMINDER: Dead by Daylight is a 4v1, you're not supposed to be able to counter or run a Killer for 5 minutes (game will be over by that point). But you can optimize time waste, to allow your teammates to do as much of the objective as possible. Also keep in mind you're playing against the STRONGEST Killer. (Out of a 35 Killer roster)!!!
- Very important: Pre-run away from your generator. Always give yourself a head start. Nothing is stronger vs the Nurse than running early, keep your distance.
- Break line of sight at all times, nothing is easier than getting blinked on while having full line of sight.
- Create as much distance as possible (while breaking line of sight).
- Don't drop down high places. Stagger blinks are 100% free hits for the Nurse.
- Avoid vaulting windows (or dropping pallets) in chase. You being stuck in animation makes you predictable (maybe if she's in fatigue you could, or in some last ditch attempts to avoid getting hit).
- Use unorthodox pathing, don't auto-pilot loop tiles like you're vsing an M1. You will be very predictable. Use weird walls in jungle gyms, run a circle around certain walls you'd normally avoid.
- Edge-map is very underrated vs Nurse. The outside walls will sometimes swallow her blinks and you will make it more difficult for the Nurse. Also, doing this automatically makes you be far away from the (active) generators. Indirectly wasting more time for the Nurse.
- Avoid cornering yourself, or atleast delay it for as long as possible. You can't 100% avoid it if she just walks you down, but remember the thing I said at the start.
- Don't be a double back merchant. Nurses usually blink on corners of buildings knowing you will double back. Mix it up, remember to be unpredictable.
- If she goes for a blind blink (through walls, instead of line of sight blinks on corners) you can instantly run into her to make her over-blink. This is more mechanical though and maybe not for never players.
- If you're very confident mechanically you could also play around with looking behind you or not. You looking behind you will sometimes make the Nurse think you're going to double back. You could do the opposite. Also not looking behind you but doubling back anyways. You'll have to try and play around with it.
- Don't run into (active) generators. Good thing about playing vs Nurse is you're not relying on resources. You can always run away from the generators and play around objects.

I'm not a great looper but apparently I did a good thing against this nurse.
Naturally, she got me at the end and she tunneled me out after my Adrenaline proc' but the game was saved and the 3 others has escaped when she facecamped me out of the basement here.0 -

Have a look at those two, they might help you.

Play Nurse
Use wallhack perks.
Win until you can't anymore.
Look how the survivors who are kicking your ass are playing.
Imitate them.

Downside I'm on console so 360's aren't super easy.

Funny you say that i constantly face God tier Nurse's so basically when facing her I don't have this chance to fully understand how to counter her because by the first minute of chase I'm down.

Any Nurse they can't get get away from is God tier to them. In their minds there's a constant stream of new players keeping her kill rate low while other killers don't follow that trend.
Try not to do the same stats as against M1 killers. Don't loop shack, don't loop low wall loops, don't camp pallets. Distance and cover. Run away when you hear the terror radius. Don't be greedy like against other killers. The more blinks it takes to close the distance between you and her makes you less of a target. The more guesses it takes to find you the better.

if there's nothing to break line of sight you're gonna die. if you're at the corner of the map you're gonna die. if you are going for a rescue and you get spotted youre gonna die in this instance too. if she walks and saves blink you're 100% dead. vaulting a window or pallet while she's watching guarantees a hit because you're stuck in an animation and can only go 1 way.
the easiest way to avoid a blink hit is to 99% sprint burst and use it right after she blinks to you. the ideal counterplay is not getting in a chase with her in the first place which means stealthing. distortion can help a lot. prerun from generators that cant be stealthed and prewalk those that can be stealthed (lots of objects nearby and paths to take). once again sprint burst is great here because you can make a lot of distance to avoid getting 2 tapped even if you're found.
keep OTR endurance or DS and tank hits. very important point here if you want to reduce her snowball momentum, especially if she gets hooks as soon as you get rescues. although if this is the case you're most likely gonna lose the match anyway because chase times are too short.
besides all these things nurse is actually counterable but it's a 50/50 each time she loses sight of you. if she guesses correctly where you are then you lose. because the chase is mostly dependant on nurse's skill, it's more about just wasting as much time as possible before you die and stopping her from snowballing, whether it be by countering slugging by going into a locker as you're about to go down, dying at an useless corner of the map, dying at a pallet or open area to make her check surroundings or potentially get saved, reset quickly with medkits or full reset with circle of healing, stealth, extending W time by increasing distance with exhaustion perks, etc.

The fact that this got 4 upvotes but the ones that actually tried to answer OP got no upvotes, is exactly why this community is ignored for balancing.

There are many guides out there so I wont bother going on and on.
But as a former Nurse of several years myself the best way to learn to counter her is to actually play her and try and get someone decent yourself.
I frequently find I am by far the strongest survivor of my random solo queue teams when it comes to Nurse and its just because I understand what is difficult for Nurse to deal with.
Oh and remember, a truly Godlike Nurse (most aren't) is going to get a down on you eventually, so its just buying time until that inevitable down happens.

I highly doubt that… considering there is like a handfull of them and the majority of them are comp players and don't play public matches regularly.

My personal favourite is getting Nurses with a fire barrel.

A lot of people have given up hope against the chief medical officer of the realm, such as @Junylar and however many up votes his comment currently has :P
But shes fun to go against with some practice. I recommend customs with a few friends to just chase and such.

If you're lasting a minute… thats pretty good lol

I was reliably informed that comp games don't matter. The average player is going against nurses who are pretty terrible per the data she has one of the lowest (and often the lowest) kill rates in the game.

Generally unpredictability and stealth work best for us. She can't chase what she don't see and being unpredictable means she has to guess what we do too. As for your validation problem, we really don't have any help sorry.

they only matter for survivor but do not matter for killer. //no survivor bias.
