Switch Performance
Since the recent update (Unreal Engine 5), the controls don't feel as consistent or responsive as they did before the update. I'm providing feedback from a Survivor's perspective. I usually play the Switch version docked to the TV.

I also play docked and it feels significantly better!
Try turning your FSR Sharpness on in the graphics settings as seen in the picture below and turn it up to 100%
Switch performance for me increased by leaps and bounds after the new engine update.
I also play on a wired ethernet connection, not wi-fi.

Me too as well. I set my fsr to 100% and docked. Also, i definitely recommend other switch players to play on ethernet cord as well. It literally helped so much with my connection when i used to do just wifi.

I use the same method (Switch Docked, Ethernet used). I feel like the input is slightly delayed (skill checks, interacting with items). Maybe it's just me. I appreciate you all giving your own points of view on this matter.

Do you have like a game mode setting option on your tv? Thats been a problem for me in the past. When its off, inputs are delayed, but when i turn it on, there is no delay at all anymore. And this has definitely helped me when it comes to looping as a survivor

Hello, yes I've checked on my TV is on Game Mode.
I tried FSR on 100% and it seemed to have help the game perform better and especially so with the recent update, it feels much better now.Quizzy2:15 a.m.

You will notice FSR help tremendously on the Alien Map and on the Skull Merchant Map.
They were unplayable in the center of the maps on Switch before FSR was added.

I've remember when the Alien Chapter was released on Switch the performance was rough in the Alien Map and to this day the performance struggles in certain areas. I do agree with you that FSR helps with the performance tremendously on the Switch version.
