Chaos Shuffle is the most fun and refreshing DBD has felt in a LONG while
I really wish this was kept as a permanent separate gamemode, I haven't felt this much urge to want to actually want to play DBD in a long time
No worrying about bringing the meta or having to face unfun perk combinations on either side, it's a complete random mix of just fun
Honestly didn't think it would end up feeling this refreshing but man, if this doesn't end up permanent we need this in regular rotation as a modifier often

Leave this mode in the game permanently please, it's a lot of fun and a great change of pace

Yeah I agree. The updates happen at 11pm for me so I decided to hop on for one game last night but accidentally ended up playing alot more 😬 feeling it this morning lol

Honestly it should be a basic game option.

I love not playing against 2 or 3 slowdowns every game. It's easy to forget how much of a slog regular DbD has turned into with all of the slowdown in the game.

This mode doesn't seem very attractive to Killer players though.

ive played around 10 games and someone has dc'd or suicide on hook each game…… also why am i getting low profile and cut loose 4 times in a row when i cant even get one useful perk once

Yup, I love it lol not going back to regular DBD until it's over

I LOVE IT! The BP multiplier also helps a lot LOL.

As someone who has nearly always randomized my builds, I'm really happy at last this has been made and a little disappointed this is not a permanent mode - I'd vastly prefer this to 2v8. Hopefully, they'll make this a permanent separate mode in future.
What I can say is that this allows players to focus more on their basic skills, adapt to new experiences, get creative and maybe not feel so pressured by the meta. It's not an exact proof that the meta isn't needed, since everyone is random, but this hopefully shows that - at pubs level - the meta is not needed. Unless it's comp, anyone can have enough success with random builds vs meta builds.
I'm hoping this becomes a permanent extra mode. I'm also hoping many get as much enjoyment and freshness from this mode as I always had in regular trials with random builds.

I believe they'll adapt. I use randomizers for both Killer amd Survivor in regular games, and it just takes some adjustments to start putting greater pressure in. It'll come with experience and experimentation.

It's not about adapting. Unless this becomes the default game mode or gives an absurd amount of BP per match, I don't really see the point of playing this mode as Killer long term.
This mode is pretty relaxing for casual swf though.

Agreed. For the first time in perhaps two years I’m genuinely having fun and have played for a few hours each time I’ve started the game up (usually, I play 2-4 matches and get fed up).
It’s so refreshing for both sides to not have to verse the usual meta, and has introduced a great variety into the game. No sweat, no hardcore meta perks… just fun and randomness.
Please BHVR, introduce this as a permanent game mode. The game feels so much healthier when playing in this mode.

I really love it. It is so nice not to see 4x slow down or aura on killer or all meta on survivor. I only have 2 problems with this mode:
- Map offerings are allowed. Especially swf use survivor sided maps like Eyrie of Crows, Red Forest or GoJ. In a chaos mod maps should be random.
- Killers like to proxy camp and tunnel more because they know they'll get away with it 95% of the time.

@appleas
Why? No DS/OTR+WoO on 4 people. No guaranteed Background player etc. Killer is more chill than ever. And most killers tunnel and camp anyway, getting them ez kills.

Wonderful game mode that proves once and for all a lot of the issues in this game are caused by having a meta but also the players themselves. I’ve had lots of chill, fun games in this mode and got value out of perks I’d never normally think to use but there are still some people absolutely sweating for reasons I will never understand. But that’s on those individuals, not BHVR.

Really? Because I'm loving this as Killer! The toughest trial I had was a 2K, and all other trials have been better than that.
It is about adapting. Nothing wrong if people cannot, but realistically there is no reason why a Killer can't be successful with this and do well long-term.

They desperately need to add a way to see what your perks do. There are way too many perks and you wouldn't want to use 75% of them in a normal game. I have no idea what a lot of the perks even do when I get them. I'd be shocked if 5% of the playerbase could pick out leverage from the icon and explain what it does. Lots of perks like that.

They do, just look below your ping during the match

I would much rather chaos shuffle be permanent, than 2v8, so if we can only have one new permanent game mode, please let it be this.
Chaos shuffle still feels like DBD, except people aren’t cramming slowdown perks and second chance perks into their builds. My only suggestion is to remove No mither from the rotation (or rework the perk completely).
2v8 just seems like a novelty. Pretty much none of the existing loops in this game, would properly work with 2 killers that are trying to flank a survivor from opposite sides. So it just requires way more coordination than live DBD (needs agressive body blocks and group healing), which is great for SWFs, but really bad for Solo q.

I agree here.
I've been waiting for something like this for ages and it's so much fun!
Pls let it be permanent or rotate so we can have it from time to time.2 -
It's hilarious.
I was playing as Scratched Mirror Myers, got NOED and Franklins.
Also discovered that Iron Maiden isn't bad on Artist.

I've gotta be the only person that doesn't care about this mode. Maybe it's because I don't run the same perks all the time? Picking my own perks is half the fun. I don't get it.
