Why do the weak killers start the match with their powers on cooldown why the strong killers do not
Why do Freddy, Sadako and Chucky start the match with their powers on cooldown but killers such as Nurse, Blight, Spirit and Billy do not even when they already have stronger powers than the aforementioned killers ? It literally doesn't make any sense.

Freddy, sadako, dredge can all teleport so having them immediately be on a survivor the moment the match starts wouldnt be fair (I know its freddy and sadako but still). I dont really know for chucky.
As for blight nurse and spirit, blight still takes time to get across the map (though its a lot less), nurse's map mobility is average unless its an indoor/multifloored map (with edge cases like badham houses/basement), and spirits map moblity is good but not too impressive so she wouldnt need a limit like that.0 -

A very good point. I feel like most killers should have their powers up at the start of the match.

He'd be weaker after the next patch and he's already not as strong as these 4 killers I mentioned.

With how bad lockers placements are you'd still be more likely to be onto a survivor immediately with either Blight or Billy than with Dredge unless you're playing on Midwitch.

I'm pretty sure Billy can cross the map faster than dredge. Maybe nearly as fast as sadako

and the zombies spawn with the survivors right? They start moving as the camera starts panning though and before they gain control of their survivor so they have a head start.

I guess BHVR has different teams for each killer: The developers said that they need 10 - 12 month for a chapter which means they need at least four different killerteams. Since different people work on different killers they have different opinions which means some of them think it's better if the killer has a power cool-down at the start of the map while the other think it's fine. It could also be that the developers learned during the eight years and saw that it would be better if the newer killers have a cool-down at the start of the match. However, Freddy is an old killer so this can't be the case.
Actually, this is a really good question. I really hope the developers will answer this question!
