Personal thoughts on FTTE (Friends to the end Perk)
I personally use this with just about everything, along with Discordance

A pretty overrated perk imo. It's quite bad. 20 seconds of Exposed is in almost all cases completely worthless, so it's essentially just a very bad BBQ. To see a decent perk that Exposed would need to be like 60 seconds.

It has the same problem as Dissolution in that it alerts the survivors you have it

I use it in all my builds cause it helps snowball, and it has good synergy with Nemesis, in that it makes the now exposed Survivor Oblivious. So they may know youre coming, but not always from where

Surprised to see so many say it's not a very good perk. As a solo q main, friends till the end has destroyed my matches more often then it hasn't. It can be a great snowball, especially on maps that are smaller. But I doubt I'm playing in mega-ultra-high-intense-mmr lol so maybe when its up there it's not very good.

Finally i've seen someone say this 🥲, i get in p100 matches pretty frequently and this perk is just amazing when using killers such as blight for snowball, I promise you, you can be high MMR and this perk still be amazing imo

20s of exposed aint that good why not just use make your choice?

I'm not sure why most killers I face don't typically use make your choice. I run into FTTE much more often. Maybe because of the Aura reveal? You can't hide or anything once it's on you. Not sure.

it has aura reveal? im pretty sure it just made the obsession scream

FTTE reveals your aura for a duration of the exposed status effect.
(edit for duration I thought it was all 20 sec but it was max 10)

Feels satisfying to get value, but in general it's pretty hard to use.

I see lots of killers run this but can't say I ever see them obtain any valve if anything it makes the survivor more alert lol

I honestly feel like at minimum the exposed should be 40 seconds. I like the perk concept it's just difficult to get any value which I understand but there's a limit to enabling too much value and a perk just being a worse version of already existing perks.

It's an aura reveal for 6/8/10 seconds, not the entire 20 second Exposed effect, but yes.

Oh sorry! I just edited my reply. Thank you for the correction. (Also if this sounds sarcastic I promise it's not lol)

Whats a P100 match?

I just prefer FTTE much more simply because of the constant value and intel with hooking, knowing I'll either know where the obsession is, or another survivor who becomes the obsession, MYC I just never get any real value with, unless I'm running floods of rage

No worries :)

Ok read the perk hooking the obsession does cause someone to scream and become the next obsession.
But even then its not a good perk in my opinion 20 seconds of exposed is not good you would waste 15-20 seconds just to get to the person and then start chase 10 seconds of Aura reading is cool but hard countered by distortion which survivors love to run there's simply better perks with exposed duration Make your choice, Dragons grip heck even Hubris

I'm not saying its good or bad to use, as I'm a solo q main so I haven't personally used it as a killer. My perspective comes from my experience in going against it. It's like Adren. That perk is very specific to what and how it can be used effectively but when it is used effectively it can change the whole game. In my experience, FTTE can do the same, and has snowballed in more of my games then it hasn't. But when it comes to Distortion, I'm surprsied you run into it alot. It wasn't even in the top ten percent of most used perks from the last stats.
In any case, I'm indifferent to the FTTE perk in general. I don't think it's op, and I don't think it's super weak. I think it has a chance to give really good value, especially on high mobility killers, like many perks.

I can see that. Personally FTTE has proven to be really powerful in my solo matches. I don't think it's op by any means, but I don't think it's super weak either. I think it's in a good spot.

where all the survivors are prestige 100 on their survivor from bloodweb, most are pretty skilled (lots of experience)

Odd, I find plenty of P100s that play like beginners.
