I second this suggestion. We need separate volume controls for the menu. Apart from the incessant chirping, there's the deafening bloodweb sound effects, too. Having to turn the volume down and up again constantly is not ideal, especially because the slider cannot be set in an instant, it takes some time.

to be honest, I never even noticed the sound until someone made a post on Reddit once about it, and then I finally unlearned it and stopped noticing and reading this made me notice it again 😭

High frequencies. You can put off the volume, then you are ingame put it on again at the good volume…
BTW I found the main menu music was better when it was a guitar instead a piano.0 -
I always wanted them to let us fully mute the bloodweb sfx, and lower survivor hook screams to like 30% of their original output, though I wouldn't be against adding the option to lower the crickets noise, even though I don't mind them personally.
