Multiversus just got Jason before dbd?
New multiversus trailer. Jason is in it as a character. (Min 2:40)
Does that means License is now easy to get or who owns it or something?
Do we have a chance in March this 9 year as 1 killer licensed chapter for jason?

I feel he is much more likely to be the anniversary for next year, why would they bring Jason without Tommy and Camp Crystal Lake

From my understanding Sean Cunningham owns adult Jason and the rights outside of the US while Victor Miller owns kid Jason, presumably to make "Jason Universe" a reality they would have both come to an agreement so I would assume a map is at least on the table here

and just gonna say… camp crystal lake is not interesting for dbd. just some cabins, woods, lake. it's not really remarkable beyond the name.
it's fine to get it, but it'll just feel like lampkin lane in the woods.
tommy would be sad to not get…

I mean, we get a Solo Killer in March according to the Roadmap. And I have read from someone else that in theory they can announce the Chapter early (like they did with Sadako) in December. And the 13th of December is a Friday.
Considering that the Jason-License is now available:
I would say it is only a matter of time until Jason arrives in DBD. I would obviously not expect him to join in every Chapter onwards (we already know that the next licensed Chapter after Vecna is Castlevania and the December-Chapter is original), but I think the March-Chapter would be a big possibility.

It would open the door for water on maps and a swim mechanic for both sides, but I know I'd end up disappointed because BHVR isn't gonna do it right we'll end up with a underwhelming m1 jason running around a small enclosed map with just a view of the lake. I'd honestly say if that's BHVR'S plan for a jason just don't bring him at all I'd rather have a legendary skin for Trapper than a F13 chapter with a weak jason and a halfway done correctly map.

I mean, first of all, it depends what the LIcense Holders allow to use. I dont know how the situation is currently, so not sure if the Jason-License Holders even have the rights on Camp Crystal Lake for example.
But I am also not really sure what they want to do with Jason. Because in the movies, he did not really have any abilities aside from his inhuman strength. Which we basically have with every Killer (and is also basically the trademark of Trapper).
