Redundant Toxicity.
I genuinely don't understand what survivor's gain out of teabagging on exit gate, hatch, etc. even when they didn't even escape clean, instead, for example of my last game, being on second hook, it's not something that's gonna make me uninstall the game and start crying about, just don't understand the purpose or the gain, "Do you want a cookie?"

They want to annoy you. And it worked, you opened a Thread on the Forums about it.

just asking why, and the purpose of it.

'They want to annoy you. And it worked, you opened a Thread on the Forums about it'
That's it, nothing new, nothing else…8 -
I think the one time I teabagged other than to say hello to a fellow teammate, it was to get a camping Trapper away from another teammate to try and help them (oddly coordinated for solo-q, but it worked great).
Unless it's clearly that or just trying to be funny, it's 99.999999999% of the time just to bother you. Kinda the same with killers WS'ing slugged survivors, it's just ragebaiting. That's all, nothing other than trying to troll.

I just wish it wasn't tbh, as a killer main i don't ever feather (hit survivors on hook) or WS, and never indulging in toxic or unfair behavior, yet toxicity is still done in return, it's just so weird to me.

T bagging on top of hatch is never not funny to me as a killer. Like I literally let you have the chance to escape. You gloating you found it is so cringe when I could of just chose to slug for the 4k and kill you.
You'll probably find way more slug for 4k games when mori finisher gets added.7 -
Because BM and trash talking can actually be fun. For example in a game like dota when you gank someone and after you killed them you just put the "?" in chat and then he tries to go for you and will most likely do the same and that way some fun little interaction starts happening ^^ I actually made friends through doing that and it was hillarious :D
Sure there are also people who do it just to annoy the other side…

^ this
I've always seen it as a cringe thing, and even when i get multiple matches with it happening, i still choose not to slug, yet it's doing this that influences tunneling and slugging, which, i don't hate other killers for, just personally try to avoid doing so.

It's because those players don't win often. This is the only game where I've seen people t-bag at the winning team. People need to get the hint, if the killer doesn't slug for the 4K then they couldn't care any less for hatch. The ones who wait out the timer are mentally not normal because they are hurting themselves to hurt the other team. Even when I follow the 'survivor rulebook', low tier killer with non meta builds, they are still doing it lol. Now I hard tunnel, camp etc cuz I still treated the same if I do not.

and sadly this is exactly what i was talking about, toxic behavior by survivors washes and reflects back onto the killers, which causes some killers to act in a similar way, i personally don't, even when survivors choose to do toxic things, but that's not the same for others, and unfortunately you as well.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I used to feather real bad when I was a baby killer because I'd seen someone else do it so I figured it was helpful. Nowadays I look back and feel kinda embarrassed.
Ultimately though, it's not something you can really help that much. Toxic players feel better about themselves for acting toxic and all you can do is hope they realize how bad they look.

Let it slide off your shoulders.
If I'm not in the mood, I just slap em immediately and force them to leave. If I'm more high spirited I do a pirouette and dance with my killer or otherwise amuse myself and play with my power.
The important thing is never take the bait, and try to express your frustration with headshakes or whatever, and never let them see you sweat. If they throw toxic crap in end game chat, say 'gg' and move on.
They can read what they want from your actions, but ultimately you're the master of how much you allow them to upset you... and if you decide you're not gonna let them get a rise out of you, they have literally no power over you.

I find these kind of threads funny as you only mention survivor toxicity…
Killers can also teabag and/or emote (nod, spin, etc), deliberately leave you to bleed out on the floor, pretend to give you hatch then close it in your face, hit you on hook… the list goes on.
instead of saying “survivors are toxic” or “killers are toxic”, can we not just universally agree that toxicity in this game isn’t exclusive to one “side”. Toxicity is bad for the game regardless of whether that’s a killer or a survivor - the side they play on has nothing to do it with it because as we’ve seen, players of both sides have shown equally toxic and unsportsmanlike behaviours, fact.

A lot of survivors are genuinely horrible human beings. They're drawn to the role because the idea of bullying and humiliating others appeals to them, and the game allows for it. They also whine the loudest when they lose.
Bully's basically. Never go to the gate unless you have a perk or add on that blocks them in.

When This happens I just take it out on the next group by playing Blight, Nurse, or Tombstone meyers. Make their side feel the pain back

They probably got hit on hook or humped on the ground by a previous killer and took it out on you. At least, that's the sort of answer I get when I wonder why a killer humped me on the ground or hit me on hook - obviously the killer took their frustration at previous survivors out on me. The truth is that online gaming attracts all kinds of people, including those who feel quite inadequate in real life. Mocking from behind the safety of a screen is the closest they'll get to feeling any sort of power over others that they will face zero consequences for. At least that's my theory.

Big "chicken or egg" situation. One side didn't "start" it, there's just lame losers on both sides who enjoy ragebaiting. If that's how they have fun, then so be it, but all we can do is move on (or report if it's holding the game hostage for the sake of bm or something like that).

im aware, it's just as a killer main myself, who never indulges, or acts out in toxicity, its annoying.

They will never change. Play survivor and barely escape to see if you can resist the overwhelming inclination to do likewise. Impossible, even for me, who used to lose it when watching this brutal show of pixels. I play "fair" 99% of my games as killer and still see it quite often. I make it a point these days to go the gate and watch while nodding my head. Their disenchantment with my reaction is as good as it gets and to be quite honest, I'm indifferent to it most of the time these days due to practicing such a reaction for so long.

This video is 3 years old and basically a lot of bellyaching about how killers are forced to play just to compete against mic squads. The situation is far better these days and the video is only worth mentioning for the ending that still makes my tail wag fervidly.
Teabags met with abrupt justice and consequence. It's at the end.

I don't t-bag to insult the killer I t-bag because its fun! Weather the killers looking at me or not I'm probably t-bagin something, there's no rhyme or reason it's just fun to do almost muscle memory at this point. Whenever Im killer an see survivors doing it I have a little chuckle before I smak them in the butt BC they just waisted all there time dancing instead of making the distance they need.

I don't get it either, and I main Survivor. I think it's because everyone else does it, they do too, and are sort of 'communicating' with each other. If it's just them and Killer, I think it's just bad manners, especially if everyone else had to die to give them the opportunity.
If a Killer is friendly (IE didn't go too hard, had a good time, let us escape) I crouch momentarily in a mock bow and then leave.

I don't stick around JUST to T bag but if the killer is there I give a couple of goodbye bags and same with hatch , I'm not meaning anything toxic by it though, there needs to be more emotes so people don't get confused, theres a difference between a couple bags and dipping out, and sitting there for the full timer bagging until the last second
