Why can't I hear Survivor voicelines?

I have played The Clown a few months ago since Nicolas Cage's release, and I have been so hyped to hear that he has got voicelines. When I versed him the day after his release, or the day on his release, when I hit him with my weapon, I was expecting to hear some voicelines from him, but I heard nothing, except for grunts of pain, moaning and groaning. So, what's going on here? Is there something Behaviour hasn't told us? Why does Nick Cage and Alan Wake not have voicelines versing against him, or playing with him? Can someone please tell me? My brain is lost for thought.

    I believe you only hear their voicelines when you're playing as them, or if you're spectating them.

    Damn, that sucks! I wonder why survivors are the only ones who can hear their own voice lines, and nobody else? Why is it that survivors have to listen to the Killer's voice lines, but Killer's can't hear a Survivor's voice lines? I feel like there should be an option to enable or disable a Killer's or Survivor's Voice lines. It would only make sense for Behaviour to do a change like that. Not everyone wants to hear a Killer's voice line all the time. That could also include a Survivor, too. That's why we should get an option like this.

    I wish I could at least hear the lobby lines from teammates. I used to hear Ash talk whenever a teammate switched to him. It would be fun to hear the RE characters lines when I load into lobby with them. Maybe just out a 30 second cooldown so they aren't spammable.

    That would be nice to listen to. But it would also be nice to hear teammates voice lines in game, too.
