Do people seriously not do point farm matches anymore?
Just tried to give every signal I could to a group that brought in a bunch of envolpes and I brought BPS, tried to let one pallet stun, let them do gens in front of me and all, they still all rushed and left with no interaction rude.

In my experience, farming isn't like it used to be. I remember when I started playing, bringing BPS had the good possibility of a farming match. But it's changed since then. I'm personally not a fan of farming but I'll admit I do miss then sometimes lol

BHVR reduced the grind by making prestige auto unlock perks for all other characters, gives out monthly BP rewards for grade gotten, with the rift and challenges we have access to a lot of bp awards, and we have the bp bonus system for queueing the current least popular role.
Ultimately there's a lot of ways to get bloodpoints compared to the past that farming isn't really needed anymore. But on top of that the community isn't the small community it was before where people seeing 5 BPS would know to farm. In fact, the community is way more at each other's throats.

I don't participate in them. It's quicker BP gain to just play out a normal match.

I no-lifed Blood Moon and walked away with roughly 40 million BP. I have to remind myself to spend BP these days before I hit cap.

It's pretty uncommon now, especially if you're trying to farm from the start of the match. Typically I'll only farm as killer if there's one gen left, and the survivors had a rough game, like teammates DC'ing or killing themselves on hook. Farming matches are just kinda boring and take too long, when I could just go next and be in another match to get more BP.

My experience with it is as follows
- Don't farm and play normally, survivors who bring BPs complain at endgame
- I bring BP's and goof off, I get survivors being tryhards, trolls, and extremely toxic at endgame for the next 10 matches
- I go back to playing normally
- Please return to the top of this list and repeat

not rude at all, Farming is something that's a very grey area, it's definitely frowned upon whilst not fully against the rules of the game, it's definitely against the spirit of the game.
Most players do not want farming matches, they actually want to play the game.

Farming is very inefficient most of the time especially for killer where you're better off just playing out a match and going next. Not so fun breaking pallets for 20 minutes for barely more bp.

I don't remember the last time I played a bp farm match. They have been pretty generous with giving bloodpoints away so I haven't really felt the need. With that said, if I happen to be in a match with 5 cakes then I'd be down to farm a match or two. In general I'd just prefer to play the game though.

Yeah, sometimes I feel bad for a team when one player gives up right at the start. This game is not designed to be played as a 3v1. I've found a lot of times in situations like this even if you try to be nice, the survivors will just give up and move onto the next game anyway.

I always farm for my killer challenges. You just show youre friendly, hit the hook, and they literally line up in pretty little rows and you get your hooks in. I have literally never run into a single person that wasn't happy about farming. I'm not saying they don't exist but I think it's the smaller of the group. There is a chance they didn't believe you were genuine, as myself in solo q have run into "friendly" killers that have an entire end game build where they went "afk" and still got a 3k for literally standing there the whole time.

It was the streamer The Cool Mike Show. It’s an endgame build. He plays as wraith and essentially just locates the two gates and stands cloaked by a totem to ensure his noed works. He uses Rancor (stays cloaked so the obsession doesn’t know), and then Switches obsession by using Game Of Foot, and blocks the exit using blood warden. This allowed him to be “afk” essentially until end game where he was able to get a 4k by Mori for all survivors without a single hook. It was crazy to watch and crazy to experience in the actual game after that lol. If you wanna watch the vid it’s called “Most Effortless 4k in DBD” on his TikTok.

I do similar thing with The Pig sometimes, usually get survivors laughing about it (though I did have one P100 Kate that lost her religion and told me how she gets a 4K every match and escapes every match as survivor, getting Iridescent I on both sides every single month. Uh, yea… Guess you don't escape every match actually, Kate.) I play friendly to the end, stay crouched and just watch them with Amanda's Letter (Scratched Mirror if you know the more famous Myers version) then when the last generator is done, I stand up. If anyone runs, I chase them, down them, Mori them, and move on to the next.

Yeah, that's what I mean haha. I've had a few killers do that to me so sometimes it's hard to trust the whole "friendly farming" thing that op was talking about.

You have to follow the rules. If you follow the rules of the game, you will survive. Though, Amanda does have her demons, and sometimes her traps are inescapable. But, that's just… another part of the game.

Farming is so boring I get BP is scarce sometimes but i would no joke go against a 3 gen merchant than a farm match

Farming isn't fun at all I hate it, and not only that but most people don't even have enough brains to do it right when they try, and what I mean is people will down the survivor that just got unhooked so the other survivor gets deducted for a unsafe unhook, or that survivor will t bag the killer wanting to immediately be downed again and cost their teammate points, I mean while I dislike farming I'm not gonna DC , people can at least farm properly of they're going to or I might as well just played normal and got more points

I personally don't like farming matches, they are just pretty annoying for me. It's the same reason why I just kill the people left after a dc, I just don't want to wait for ages before I can go next ^^

I know the feeling. It's stupid rare to have farming game when that happen. While I don't mind a farming game or two, I preferer to play the game normally.
