Is there a way to filter which killers i am able to get matched with?
I have some mental health problems (im not disclosing them for safety reasons) that make hallucinations/hallucination related things INCREDIBLY triggering, but i keep getting into rounds with The Doctor. This means im often needing to exit the round before i even start playing (making the game worse for everyone im playing with) and waiting out the cooldown timer. Im not upset about the cooldown timer, im just upset i need to ruin everyone elses time because of things outside of my control.
Was just wondering if there is a setting i could use to avoid this entirely? Thanks in advance!

No really, as far as I know.

No right now there is no way to filter or influence wich killer you face.
And there probably never will be such a feature. While I understand what your intentions for such a system are most player would use it as a "i don't want to face that strong killer"

Sadly, there isn't. I wish they added some accessibility options to replace certain sounds or visuals that are common triggers for people.
But I've heard before of players having to disconnect against some Killers, mainly Doctor for the visual effects and Plague for people with emetophobia, so hopefully other people are a bit aware and not too upset!

that is the way they should aproach this. they should make visual and audio filters for stuff people cant stand. that would be the easy and safe since it doesnt effect enyone else

well.. I don’t think it’s that easy in the case of Doctors hallucinations. They are directly gameplay relevant after all and you can’t really replace them with something neutral as those would still be hallucinations, no? At least they have taken out these overlay flashes of doctors face..
also, MANY people in this community are heavily against accessibility options like this that wouldn’t affect them or others. Dont ask me why, I have asked for these kinda features for years..0 -
Because they think it is very important for the game that its "scary" or in case of plague disgusting for everyone.
I am invested in those discussion every time cause i thinks its super important to make those accessibility options but keeping the spirit of the game and not make something stupid like satisfactory does with the spiders.
Every time this topics is on the table people act like people suffering from phobias is a important part of the game. I have seen people even argue its part of the balance that people cant concentrate while facing certaint killer because of phobias
