Can we talk about this maximum broken map?

Here is crybaby Number 1 XD.

How in the hell can a killer patrol these generators scattered around the map? A slow walking M1-Killers need to walk in circles to even arrive at the generators in the basement.

There is absolutely no reason to play on this map, its a loss by default. Only Nurse can maybe play this map.

Instead of creating a whole Dungeon-Map you have this unbelievable tons of meters to walk, the teleports are jokes tho. Why have we the lame outdoor-realm instead of a pure indoor map? How are killers suppose to pressure here?

Sorry, but this map is only for the eyes, not for a fair gameplay!

The substantial area of the map is also a problem, but the M1 killer was impossible to catch up to the survivor in a straightforward manner if chased through a warp hole, I am surprised that this problem has not been fixed since PTB. I didn't expect the Void-Tech unveiled at last year's Halloween event to be reproduced in the regular game mode, rather than being a bad lesson, as I thought the quintessential BhVR wouldn't do it.

Even as survivor I don't really enjoy this map. Unsafe pallets are all I find, and some of the dungeon parts (while cool-looking) can be so visually darkened I'm actually struggling to see the environment.

Can I just say while I'm glad they got rid of the red hue for this realm, it's too dark now. This is the only realm where I actively struggle to see anything

Hook placement is kind of messed up, too. I got a match in which I only had 2 hooks downstairs and I had a survivor constantly going down so he could escape.

yeah dungeon navigation has been a massive problem for both killer & survivor. multiple times i’ve had killers who had to slug bc they couldn’t find hooks and just now a teammate went from first hook to death all because none of us could find where the hell she was hooked. doesn’t help that as usual this map is insanely dark & on console you can’t do anything about it.

I glad they got rid of the red hue but I don't find it too dark.

My screen is supposed to be calibrated (I've used a device for that) so maybe your screen is too dark?

This map is so BROKEN, no one ever tested it during that PTB I think. Turn off the map, I found like 5 paletts bugs and 2 with teleports, one of them makes game unplayable because person is forever stuck inside of teleport wall, pallets have many glitches or fly in the air, ######### BEHAVIOUR

There was nothing wrong with the red tint of the map. I've gotten messed up by the very distracting endgame collapse effects, seeing scratch marks that weren't there, than on that map.

I don't think they can ever balance maps for the entire killer roster. Spread out gens are hard for M1 killers, while close gens are too easy for high mobility killers. Too much clutter is bad for ranged killers, while necessary for stealth killers. Take advantage of map offerings like scratched mirror Myers players do.

What is Huntress like on indoor maps such as Midwitch? I imagine hitting hatchets in hallways is easier than if the Survivors are out in the open? I don't think I've ever played against her there in my over 5k hours.

Yeah I remember in the ptb there was 4 windows in basement and 3 of those were just super strong last I saw but IDK if that changed with the official chapter release.

Out of all 7 indoor maps, that one is the best for her. Hallways definitely make for some easy shots depending on how survivors run it and they can duck in and out of rooms as they run down the halls. And you will almost never catch survivors in a hallway as it is very easy to run room to room with minimal time in the hallways. But if you do catch them in one without a room to go into it is essentially a death sentence.

I would prefer any outdoor map as they allow for shots on unaware survivors (something that never happens on midwhich) orbitals and arc shots over small loops (which a lot of survivors never expect) I would say Lerrys by far is the worst map possible for her and is a nightmare if the survivor team is even average.

Outdoor: Copy + Paste from other maps
Indoor: Very nice for the eyes, but some extreme unbalanced Windows and Pallets

    Overall: I hate this map.

Did anyone here complaining about the map play the PTB and provide feedback to the devs?

I like the new map, every room is unique, some strong some weak loops, great tp spots, really well done BHVR.
If you can fix the few bugs that are there atm and maybe a few hooks more then we can leave it like that.

There is a literal infinite in the main building that doesnt waste pallets lmao. You dont need pallets on that map.

However it IS dumb, the map should have a balanced amount of strong and weak pallets not just unsafe pallets and an impossible to be downed main building.

I have yet to have a survivor game on the new map where we complete all 5 gens and have any escapes from that. Either matchmaking is completely broken for me across the 15ish games I've played on it, or it's super killer sided.

I think the whole map is miserable for both sides. Outside area is complete garbage for survivors, and the portal infinites in the dungeon are absolutely painful for killer. I think it already needs a serious revamp.

Outside area is copy/paste from 50 other maps as usual. Just remove the entire outdoor-area including the shack and increase the basement. Everything on 1 floor. Simple.

Got hooked in the dungeon and no one wanted to save cause its practically Bubba with basement.

If the killer is in the dungeon the TR is outside so surivors 2nd best advantage is thrown out the window. 1st advantage is looping, 3rd is 3rd person camera imo.
