Xbox Series X - Performance issues following latest update
I play on the Xbox Series X and I've noticed frequent drops in framerate since the recent update. It's most noticeable on indoor maps and/or indoor sections of maps (main house on Garden of Joy). The performance issues have been occurring every match since the Vecna update. I've tried reinstalling the game without any improvement.
-Edit- Added video of the lag. Goes from a smooth 60 frames to a very choppy 30ish fps. Main building seems to be the issue.

I've weirdly not noticed this at all on Series X and I checked Garden of Joy the other night when I heard it was causing problems. I'll take a video later of myself running through the house in case I'm just not noticing it.
Not saying I disbelieve you at all, but maybe there's something different on my setup that's somehow avoiding the issue.
Are you running FSR at all? Do you have the console set to run at 120hz? (I know DBD doesn't run at 120fps on the consoles, but I had this setting selected myself).

Had framerate issues myself on series x today, map was the Garden of Joy. Hard not to notice. Game froze on the score screen on the match after that.

I could convince myself that 60hz is ever so slightly choppier than 120hz but in a custom match as killer on Garden of Joy, I didn't really notice anything bad at all. Everything felt as smooth as usual. I wouldn't have noticed anything if I wasn't looking for it.
I took clips but they honestly don't show anything useful.
So I dunno. Weird inconsistent issue.

im glad you’ve noticed this because it’s becoming unbearable to play with low frames. I also play on Xbox series X and on several maps there are areas that cause low frames especially RPD, Borgo and Garden of Joy.

Yeah I have issues with those maps as well. Hopefully we get a fix soon with the event coming up!

Have you found a fix yet? Game is still unplayable for me. I was a daily player but the frequent frame drops have prevented me from even wanting to play.

I have this same issue since vecna and it’s still ongoing even now! It makes me feel visibly sick when going into basements or main buildings that the frames are just dropping. Nothing I do fixes the issue and slowly making the game unplayable! Has BVHR come up with any fixes please?

I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one! I also play on Xbox Series X and I'm having the same problem on the same map, it also occurs in some areas and maps like Haddonfield, I sent a ticket, I recommend that you do the same if you haven't already done so.
