Are we not having a cosmetic contest this year?
I was just wondering if we were going to be having a cosmetic contest this year. Previous years they would announce them during the anniversary stream I believe but I don't remember them mentioning it at all during this year's stream.
Just thought it would be a shame to skip over it, I had a lot of fun with it.

Meh. Community design contest is pretty boring and predictable tbh. I swear it's the same type of survivors that win. Only female survivors. Wouldn't be surprised if Sable wins if they choose the winner

I mean, I hope that isn't always the case in the future if they continue doing it, but yeah I really wish female survivors didn't always win the contest. Still, at least on the killer side that there's some variety (even if Clown did win twice).

Meh. Feel like the survivor skins that get pushed are mostly the trashy ones so I don't think it'd much of a loss

They should have a thread where contestants post their submissions for us to see like they did in the ye olden days. They should also select 4 cosmetics, one male and one female for each role. They should also do an honorary selection and give us this made by CerreD on Reddit:

Because if it is I’m mad now too! I don’t even play Blight but seeing a shark zooming at me will be terrifying!

Yo that's actually one of the better Claud designs I've seen! Super cute!
Only thing I'm concerned about is that frog is a derogatory slur towards French people; people who are terminally online will try to cancel it like they did with the Unknown(thank goodness they failed)

Yeah I would love it if they were to break it up into more categories, though I'd be sastified if they just added an icon and banner category for this year. If we do it this year. I'm still unsure if they just decided to not do it for this year.

Man more and more time, makes me lose hope that its ever going to happen. Devs probably just wanted to silently kill the whole contest, which sucks. At least I wish they would make some public announcement how they aren't doing it this year.

I came to this at just the right time with Peanits responding a few minutes ago.
I've always enjoyed seeing what you creative artsy people can come up with, so I'm happy to see we're still getting the cosmetic contest! That said, we def need a revival of Shark Blight, that would be so fun.

Could you PLEASE choose a male survivor as a winner, finally? We have only had female survivor winners so far. You will never ever make money from these skins, since you will be selling them with shards, not auric cells, so the excuse in popularity does not apply here.

While it would be nice to see a male survivor win, I'm just glad they are doing the contest again for another year so we even have that chance. I'm not going to be picky.

I feel they really need to give 3 winners each for survivors, and killers. Or at least 1 male and 1 female for each side.

I don't want to just sit here and hope. I am asking BHVR to please include diversity.
Also, I'll propose the same thing I did last year: Could we please have 4 winners for each category? That is, 4 winners for a survivor skin, 4 for a killer skin, 4 for a survivor charm, and 4 for a killer charm? There are 4 rifts in a year, so each rift could feature a contest cosmetic winner. Each rift would contain 1 CC (Community Contest) survivor skin, 1 CC killer skin, 2 CC charms. (maybe even CC banners/badges?)
I think that it would be amazing to have every rift have something from the community.

I really don't think they are going to do 4 from each category, that seems like a LOT of work for what are essentially free skins.
I think at most what I would request is that they choose 1 female skin and 1 male skin for the survivor side of the contest. That seems the most reasonable to me.

If 4 of each is too much work, then yeah, I would accept 1 female and 1 male survivor.
