PC - Crash on Coal Tower

Description

Step 1 : Boot the game

Step 2 : Play as killer or survivor

Step 3 : Crash while loading into Coal Tower map

Step 4 : It's always on Coal Tower when the camera is panning around the killer/survivor

Additional information

  • Nicolas Cage
  • Don't know, it was Chaos Shuffle and I didn't get to see my perks
  • Coal Tower
  • Every time I get that map

Prior to today, I've had no crashes since the UE5 update. Now, I am crashing every time I get the Coal Tower map. I can play on literally any other map with no problem.

    Another crash on Coal Tower. This time I didn't crash immediately after loading in but when I was chasing Meg and using my stalk ability as Myers.

    Another crash on Coal Tower. This time I was able to move around a bit, got chased, through a pallet, then I crashed within seconds of getting hooked.

    I am now crashing on Ironworks Misery of Macmillian Estate. I don't know what's going on. Log attached.

    Another crash on Coal Tower. I have done everything I can possibly do to try to fix this problem and I'm at a complete loss. Even tried reinstalling Windows and my graphic drivers to no avail. Log and link to video attached. I really don't want to be forced to bring map offerings during the event :( Please help me.

    I thought I fixed the problem yesterday by reinstalling a clean version of my graphic drivers because I was able to successfully play Coal Tower last night. Unfortunately, I had another crash today. I have went through every suggestion support has given me and I'm completely at a loss. I don't understand why it's always this map or another Macmillan Estate map. Log and link to video below. Any help would be greatly appreciation!

    Please close this thread. Just found out today that the issue is stemming from a Nvidia driver bug. Behavior blocked the driver 475.06 due to excessive problems with it therefore can no longer run the game with this particular driver. I have reverted to an older driver as the one that was blocked is the most recent driver for my GPU currently. Game seems to be running a lot better now.

    Update: rolling back drivers doesn't work. Can't play DBD anymore GG
