Queues are very long
Who came with the idea of separating queues for this anniversary? Event = modifier? Blood moon didn't have separate queues.
What's the point of the community challenges? Halfway through the first challenge, and there are 2 more left, with 4 days left of the first page, lol. Not to mention I have 7000 hours and I'm matched after 5 minutes of waiting with 800 hours people, this was an uninspired move sadly, that's the truth, separating the queues. Anniversary was that special time of the year where all experience a different gameplay for 3 weeks, not only those who want, sad.

I don't think separate queues are making that big of a difference. It is a little strange how they made the event a separate queue when it's always been worked into the main mode. But they added a feature for separate queues, so might as well utilize it.

Yeah killer queue times suck lately. Especially in the event. Have to wait up to 5 minutes sometimes to find a match.

Queue's are a little longer but I don't think it's to any significant degree that it's an issue.

I wonder why Killer Que time is so long? Maybe the slight skew of game balance and extreme bp gain difference?!?!?
If the points gained on survivor side were closer to what killers get it would change this. The difference is disgustingly different. It hurts the game it feels like.

If you want points as survivor, you have to interact with the event. Totems and chests give a hefty amount of points when those Tryks activate. I've ended a few games as survivor with over 60K on the scoreboard with the highest being around 90K.
Also killer queues aren't long. I've even seen the killer queue have the 150% BP modifier for being the role that needs more players.

They are instant for Survivor but very, very long for Killer. Maybe there just aren't enough players in my region to support two modes like this (or not enough people are queuing for the event). Match-making has also gone to the wall. I've had way more bad match ups than usual and it doesn't seem to matter what side I'm playing as.
I actually preferred how the event was last year. At least then I could hop into a Killer game and easily collect all the cosmetics pretty quickly and it didn't actually matter how well I did. They can keep separate queues for other time limited events if they want, but the Anniversary should be just one big queue for everybody. If for no other reason, it would be a good thing to bring everyone together for the anniversary, surely?
That said, I know there are players out there that don't care for the events or the cosmetics, so I guess this is a compromise to keep those people happy too.
But the idea of having to grind through 2 more tome event levels to collect all the cosmetics on offer is filling me with dread, tbh. Especially if it means playing through some of the worst trials of DBD I've ever experienced.
