What's with all of the complaning all of a sudden?
Since the update dropped I seen the fourms filled with complaints about the new match making sucks,way did they nerf that, and soo on? And before the update got released alot of players were excited for the new update. So is this just the toxic community spreading hate hoping to be heard?

Mostly killer mains complaining about something that isn’t even confirmed yet. Lobbying one would say.

Don’t see the issue with it. So I have to hit them one extra time to get the down? Meh, if I can hit them 3 times I can do it again. plus I get to see their aura for the rest of the match if they heal.... bonus. Plus it’s another perk to mix up the meta

If they can get a few gens done in the space it takes me to hit someone I’ve already got 3 times before then I’d need to be looking at how bad IM playing the game

Everyone gets genrushed. Some won't admit but it happens even to the best ones. You can't win if you chase someone too long, and you will with crutch perks like that.

well if you have hit them 3 times before..... they clearly don’t. Or take the miss, go protect your gens let them heal and then see their aura for the rest of the match. It’s a one use perk, hardly a game changer

i personally don’t believe in gen rushing. Survivors are doing their job, just deal with it accordingly, but yeah sometimes they start in good spots and the gens get done quicker than in other matches, but no perk is gonna change that

The current state of the game doesn't need anymore things that add wasted time to the killer. The game keeps getting these weird additions that increase the amount of time killers need to waste to get their job done, but little in the way to just in general slow the game down when everyone keeps saying the game is playing too fast and the endgame is in need of an overhaul. I don't really care if the perk actually goes live, but it would be nice to get other things first like endgame timer, secondary survivor objective, or alternate killer win condition.

.... it really wasn’t. See an obsession and you don’t have an obsession perk, go for them first and get DS out the way early. If they save it, fair play. Again an extra 6/7 secs didn’t change much as much as most would like you to believe it did

Why wouldn’t someone complain when they don’t like a thing? That’s how humans were made. That’s why we, as The True Heroes, selected by the Enity, must put them on meat hooks and send them into the sky.

Extra 6/7 seconds in the hands of a bad survivor. In hands of the competent it can end up to be much more than that.

I agree it’s more time wasted for the killer, but marginal amounts for a good killer. Yeah would be nice to see some end game changes 100%, would love to be able to shut that bloody hatch, but who knows what’s down the line

but a competent survivor against a competent killer shouldn’t end up being more than 10/12 secs max. If a gen gets done in that time, well let’s be honest it would have gotten done anyway. It’s all about how you deal with it not the actual perk itself

Then some of the people considered very good killers are not competent. I have yet to see someone so competent like you claim is possible.

Even True let the decisives on the floor and leave them be on many ocassions during a chase so he can stop gens.

..... never claimed to be great/competent. However been on the receiving end of DS 1000’s of times and have had equally managed to down them within in seconds and completely loose them. Just never whinged about it as they used their perk smartly and I respect that if they get away.

Sure that works. Good strategy. All you risk is leaving DS till last, but you always had options on how to deal with DS. Like I said just how you deal with it.

And sometimes you can eat it, depending where they DS. Yeah, if they are near a loops/pallets then it’s gonna add time, but by the time they have DS’d you should already know how good of a looper/survivor they are and just have to make a judgement call- spend time on closing the deal or let them go know DS is out the way and protect your gens.

I mean perhaps a forums warrior with the legion portrait could see what he means. If you play a decent killer ie myers, plague, huntress, windstorm wraith, hag, huntress, billy, or nurse youll have no problem. I certainly wont mind it as playing nurse is easy enough as is.

I personally love this update, it was the first time I bought both killer and survivor at the same time on the same day. Jane looks great, the perks are great, Plague if fun to play if you know how to play her properly.
Tiers don’t even matter at this point especially with the nerf that rank got for killers. Just have fun man, a 3k is good. Avoid tunneling obsession and you’ll be able to avoid that surprise DS. I always chase after people who unhook nowadays because it’s an extra hook on them as well.
Personally in my opinion, the forums at the moment are really hard to look at with all of the complaints...wish people didn’t react like this. At least it’s not a Legion 2.0?

Pretty much. Really disappointing to see that they have created yet another "get out of jail free" perk with no counterplay. In addition it's the ultimate perk for your ochido types with 2000+ hours who want to derank and bully new players.
It just makes people lose faith in the design team when something like this makes it into the game. Sure it's not confirmed yet but clearly the design has gone ahead to the point where it's working in the game and has its own icon and description amd everything so it's pretty far along.

I Don't know about everyone else but personally I was so excited for this DLC Update but with all the good it brought there were things I didn't like, so yes I start to complain in a way about some bugs/changes that concerned me. Complaints aren't inherently a bad thing, especially in a game like this.
For me the things that really had me upset was the Fact that the Plague got nerfed on arrival even though general consensus on her was she was in a good place, not too strong and not too weak.
and then there's this whole Spirit thing, After the update she now gives a noise notification when going in and out of the spirit world and Vault, Which completely destroys her power. If this is a bug or not I don't know but It's definitely something that warrants a complaint.

Dlc update is fairly good but the emblem scoring changes and spirit shadow Nerf were not needed. Just had a match where I had 2% proximity penalty for time putting a couple of traps near hook with the hag. Even walking past the hook to go to another gen adds 1%. It was fine the way it was to punish campers a bit but being near it for a even a few seconds is ridiculous.
