Darkness Revealed buff went in wrong direction
This perk isn't popular not because its duration is too short, but because maps make this perk too situational. I still remember my game on Huntress on Rotten Field with this perk, where I got literally 0 auras for 5-6 locker openings.
I think duration buff is welcome (even if i don't get this devs note about "more aggressive using in chase", because only Huntress and Trickster has opportunity to use this perk like that), but range buff is what this perk missing.

True. I highly doubt it that the developers will make the locker placement better so instead of increasing the duration of the perk, they should increase the range of the Perk by like two or three meters. The Perk is very unreliable due to the bad locker spawns on many maps. But even with a good locker spawn, they are sometimes a meter or so too far away from a Generator to get value from the Perk. It's sad. The perk can be even bad on indoormaps like The Game or Midwich. So even with the longer duration, the perk is still outclassed by other Aurareadingperks like BBQ or NWTH because they are more reliable and give more infos that you can control.
I also don't understand why they buffed the duration because a long while ago they asked on Twitter how players would buff this perk and many players said that the Perk needs a bigger range. So why did they not listen to them? Maybe they are afraid of a UW2.0?
In my opinion they should increase the range and keep the duration but can add a bigger requirement so you don't open a locker at the start of the game and have a built-in LP (e.g. can be used once you hook a survivor). I'm also okay with only buffing the range and not the duration. But only buffing the duration won't make the Perk good.

I think it easily can be 12 meters and it will be super strong only on Midwich and maybe Hawkins anyway. Not sure how this perk is bad on Midwich, because Midwich is heaven for Dredge due to amount of lockers.

Aura perks barely used in chase, maybe only on some specific killers, looking for saver teammates is still not in chase, it's strange devs take anyway.

I don't know why I said Midwich, probably because my last matches were on this map. Midwich is the best map for this Perk.
I really hope other players will give the same/a similar feedback to this Perk during the PTB-Feedback so the developers can buff it in the right direction or otherwise the Perk will be useless for the next two years again.

They really need to just make locker spawns for consistent. It would fix issues with multiple killers and perks like this one.

I feel like the developers don't really care about it anymore. They spent 5sec and think it is fine. In the PTB Feedback I mentioned that DR needs a bigger range and not a longer duration. Also that that I'm All Ears needs a smaller trigger range. I even spent so much time in explaining why buffing in that way is wrong Iron Will and so many players gave a similar feedback with facts.
It is so sad seeing that the developers don't really care about it or at least give an explanation why they don't implement things that we suggest.

I read your feedback, it was very good and constructive! And I stopped do big feedback posts, because it's pointless. What devs will take into account is just a casino roulette. 99% of community can ask about something and they will ignore it, one guy can say here that Background Player is weak and we play with broken perk for half year. No one, literally no one asked for Soul and Stone Blight's addons changes, all Blight players said it's bad change and addons too weak... and they nerfed it further after PTB. It happens every patch and I just don't keep my hopes for anything anymore.

After this I will also no longer post big feedback posts since the developers seem not to care about facts, experiences, and the health state of the meta from a bigger playerbase. What upset me the most is the pathetic and ignorant behaviour of the developers that they don't explain why they didn't buff Darkness Revealed and I'm All Ears in the right direction, why they buffed IW in the unhealthy direction, why they didn't implement the Knight bug and removed the stupid feature that was actually a bug. I'm fine when the developers don't implement every suggestion from the playerbase because we not always know what is the best for the game (but same goes for the developers too) but to suggest something and then get ignored feels so pathetic. Mandy posted one post in the PTB Feedback sector but this was more of a necessary one. Every other developer did nothing. But it is what you said "it happens every patch".
