Will Stridor counter the upcoming changes to Iron Will like it used to in the past?
I hope so. But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if not. I can't take the balancing of this game seriously anymore.

it counteracting iron will got nerfed when it was 100%; iron will still made you completely silent against stridor. so probably that's how it's gonna work.

Just make it additive instead of multiplicative, like it was in the past.

The perk will still have the exaustion thing, so do not panic, every survivor use lithe nowadays, they can't use iron will

I would like to see Stridor’s ability to counter 100% IW to be brought back. Gave it more of an incentive to run it and actually made it more unique of an anti-stealth perk.

the thing is this would counter bite the bullet and otr as well and those perks don't need this kind of nerf. If anything this should really show why 100% iw is a bad idea and iron will if nessicary to buff should go no higher than 90%.

Anything below 100% is trash and not worth using. Unless you go against low MMR Killers who use their speakers for Audio.

I have written it years ago, I would rather see Stridor getting a new effect. Aside from Spirit, no Killer will run Stridor (even back then Killers did not run Stridor (aside from Spirit), even when Iron Will was at its strongest).And a Perk which is only used on exactly one Killer is not really good to begin with. I would rather see it having an effect which is worth taking on more than one Killer.

The new Spirit needs Stridor against a 100% Iron Will. If it were the old Spirit, I'd agree, because it would be a balanced mindgame for both her and the survivor. Now that the survivor knows exactly where she is and Spirit won't hear him, Stridor is necessary.

Thats not my point. My point is that this is a Tool old Spirit did not have. But apparently I missed the Patchnotes that Iron Will now makes Survivors invincible.
Damn, how Killers ever were able to win games with old unnerfed Iron Will around. They must be gods.

Exactly! Iron Will was nerfed because it was difficult for killers.
Iron Will was a crutch for survivors and carried a lot of matches. Why do you think they are "un-nerfing" the perk if it was nerfed for a reason? Because there are still people who don't know how to play without it.

Or because they finally tackle those Perks which got unneccessary Nerfs. Iron Will was not nerfed because it was too strong, it was nerfed to be removed from the Meta. Especially Perks which got Double-Nerfs were just changed to "shake up the meta". Now they are partially reverting the Iron Will-Nerf.
But since it is only a partial Nerf and Exhaustion-Perks are way more popular, you wont run into games where everyone is running Iron Will.
And when it comes to Spirit, as I said, she now has a Tool to counter Iron Will without using a Perk Slot (and IMO equipping an Add On is far better than giving up a Perk Slot for a mediocre at best Perk). And since the only Killer which actually used Strider has a different Tool now, we can change Stridor to something which can be considered on more Killers.

And why do you think meta perks are meta?
It will become meta again because it's extremely strong with or without the exhaustion function.
As for the Spirit, Cherry Blossom completely changes the gameplay, do you think it's fair to have to use an addon that makes Spirit another killer just to counter a broken survivor perk? I don't think so.

And no, the Perk will not be Meta. On almost all Survivors you have 1 Exhaustion-Perk. And those are the strongest Perks Survivors can have. Iron Will will be interesting for those who dont use Exhaustion-Perks, and this is really a minority.

I pity the survivor who will only face Spirit with Cherry Blossom. As for being meta or not, it's just your perspective, which I think is totally wrong.

Stridor is terrible even on Spirit so the perk is good for nobody and will not see any play

The game has changed since old Iron Will. There's a multitude of tracking and info perks at the killers disposal this time around.

In my humble opinion, every unlockable that affects the noises of pain on survivors (Stridor, add-ons for Huntress, Freddy, etc.) is borderline useless.
Except for Spirit, but... she is a special case.

Most spirits I see run cherry blossom already, so it will change nothing.

Hearing the sound of OTR is a buff because it will be harder to distinguish those who can be tunneled and those who cannot be tunneled

Cherry Blossom creates a skill issue because these players don't learn how to use and understand sounds in the game and how to react to counterplays on the survivorside. Similar to Stridor Spirit users. I think these Spirit players you saw with this Addon wanted to do a daily or archive - they were not Spiritplayers. The normal Spiritplayers don't run this Addon. In my opinion, this Addon needs a rework not only because it creates a skillissue but also it removes a big counterplay on the survivorside.
Also it is not okay when a killer is forced to run one particular Addon because one Perk removes a big part of gameplayelement. That's just unhealthy.
Not every survivor build needs an exhaustion perk. However, survivors can run an exhaustion perk alongside Iron Will since DH and BGP exist and you can control when you want to use them unlike SB, Lithe or Balance Landing. So the downside is not really a downside. It the same lowkey argument like players did to pretend MFT was healthy.

Or they wanted to play a strong killer without having to learn them the hard way. Most combined it with mother daughter ring and the number of spirits I saw dropped with the rings nerf, so I don't it was just challenges.

Year, you're right that can also be the case. I really hope the developers will rework this Addon. It's so stupid und unhealthy.
