How would you rework Legion?

Legion has a perfect tool to spread the damage and slow the game down, but they heavily lack any support in a chase from their ability. In fact, they don't have anything unique for them to use during a chase. It is the biggest reason he is always placed on low tiers in tier list.

So how would you change that?

I'd argue that he doesn't need to be changed. The legion was built for a specific purpose, and they are completing that purpose perfectly. And since the legion has one of the highest playrates in DBD, I don't see them getting changes anytime soon.

Some killers are designed to be good at top level play while others are designed to simply be fun to play as. The Legion is in the latter category

either do nothing or give them a whole new power, legion is not buffable

The only thing I can think of is Legion getting something for injuring multiple survivors during a frenzy. Maybe faster vaulting or break speed.

I mean he becomes faster with each hit, also injuring multiple survivors and getting the 4th hit will reward you with a down-inducing 5th hit.

Well yeah but realistically, that 4th hit shouldn't be happening in most cases. That's kinda why I think adding something for injuring survivors with frenzy would be good.

I wouldn't want to see a full rework. But I do believe it's possible to give them small buffs to better deal with high MMR teams that know the counter play.

For example, they could have a longer base-kit Frenzy duration. This would help them to catch up to Survivors that know to spread out and run early and won't make any difference to Survivors that group up, stay within the terror radius and frequently double gens (since you'll be easily chaining hits against these Survivors, even with a standard 10 seconds of power).

There are other buffs that may be more contentious, like a faster movement speed / shorter cool down when exiting power, which would help them catch up and turn their vaulting ability into a more usable chase power. There have been lots of good suggestions in the feedback section of the forums, but it doesn't seem like buffing Legion is on BHVR's priority list.

Outside of some minor things, Legion are fine. They don't need a full rework or anything.

I would also like a longer frenzy duration. If he doesn't have anything to use in chase, at least make it so their non-lethal power will be more useful right

"fine" is a very open-ended word. Do you mean he is doing well in matches or he is where he needs to be?

If I was to rework Legion, I'd make them function like an actual legion. All four Legion members would be on the map, with the player as one and the other three as wandering NPCs, like Nemesis's zombies. Each Legion NPC would have a vision cone like zombies do, and if they spot a survivor, they'd follow them at a somewhat quick pace (a little below a survivor's sprint speed) but stop if the survivor made enough distance away. If a Legion member gets close enough, they'd attack a survivor with a standard attack and cause Killer Instinct to activate. Like Nemesis zombies, they'd be drawn to loud noises, but can also search lockers if they see a survivor enter them like Knight's guards do, and they would also passively destroy dropped pallets if they get near them. For the sake of balance, I'd program them to stay away from generators and hooked survivors, unless they hear the loud noises like a failed skillcheck, then they'd get closer to investigate for survivors. They'd be vulnerable to flashlights and pallet stuns too but obviously wouldn't die, simply be disabled for a while.

If we wanted to get really crazy, the player would also be able to switch between them like Charlotte and Victor, but I doubt BHVR could ever get that to work with the spaghetti code. They probably couldn't do the rest of the idea either but it's fun to imagine.

Legion's power is completely anti-synergistic with what's it's trying to do. It actively gets worse the moment a survivor is killed because it becomes exponentially harder to get its benefit.

It needs a change. I don't know about a full rework, but certainly some alterations to how it functions or the benefits it gives.

-allow legion to damage deep wound timer.

-grant the survivors a special item ability to sprint burst for 200% m/s for 2 seconds to have some counter-play to avoid the m2 hit.

Reworking Deep Wounds would be what I'd do

Give them a iri button effect basekit

I’d only buff their mori to include more than one member in the killing.

Nothing. The only thing I would probably change is Pill Bottle into Basekit for X Seconds.

Like others, I don't think they need reworking. My main complaint is that so many people play them as M1 and wait out the power to stay in chase with one person. It seems like a waste.

You can rework Legion from my cold, dead, controller drifted hands

Definitely agreeing with the majority here that Legion doesn't need a rework. I'd even go so far as to say there's not much they even really need in the realm of buffs, Legion is pretty decent at the moment.

As an aside, it's a pet peeve of mine when people refer to Legion as "he". There's four of them, show some respect to the other three…

Fine as in they don't need a full rework. Just some minor buffs maybe.
