If you close a perfectly normal post, at least give a reason why.
@Rizzo don't see a reason why that post has been closed. I'd love to know why.

Probably the tone more than anything.
The title can come off the wrong way, the "we are in July" part could come off condescending, as if you were saying "it has been enough time, why cant you hurry up" or something of the sort. Even if that was not your intent, things can be perceived in a way beyond what you were intending, it just happens.
Also I would be careful when you @ a moderator, a lot of them are really busy (mostly dealing with reports and checking threads) and I find it is best to not bother them or their work.

I would highly recommend not marking a mod. They come out of the fog with a hammer. I've had that experience myself

If you could at least DM a mod personally, he wouldn't even need to make this thread to mark a mod. But you can't DM a mod so I get why he did make this post.

A hint for you... Don't argue with mods, it's pointless.

I don't understand, community fighting each other with all that stupid us vs them and increasing toxicity 24/7 is completely fine, yet somehow if it's even slightly condescending against BHVR themselves, it'll immediately be closed?

The action was not taken by me, however I reopened the discussion, I'm not sure why it's been closed.
And please, do tag us if you need help, we are here for that.
Edit: I just checked and the discussion was closed by mistake, there was no other reason behind it.

Oh really? Then I'd be interested to know why you punished me with a one-week ban last time just because I tagged Mandy with a normal question about her answer on another Post.
Also, there's no way to complain about moderators in any form here in the whole forum if you've been wronged.
This is terrible

because I'm not a moderator!
I'm Lead CM so do fall under the developer role (as shown on the tag of my posts).

She has a normal moderator function like other developers or moderators. Do you know how many times I've seen people here in the forum tagging Peanuts and other BHVR employees - and nothing happened. Nothing at all.
Is it really just because some users here on the forum have developer status?
I feel like I'm being treated unfairly and I can't even defend myself against it.1 -
All right, then I'll know next time. Thank you

The best part about this forum is that when you have an issue with a moderator and you try to work it out with them they can ignore you. So you contact someone tagged as an administrator and they tell you to work it out with the moderator and not to contact them. So you message the moderator again and they just continue to ignore you. Incredible system, really.

this is actually pretty confusing

I literally thought we weren't allowed to tag moderators myself. I'm glad I read this thread. Thank you for the clarification.

is it confusing though?
Forum moderators can be mentioned as their primary function here on the forums is to… moderate the forums.
Devs - including community managers - are not to be mentioned as their primary workload does not lie within moderating the forums and they just pop in here and there to provide info or directly engage in active discussions. It would be really overwhelming for them to once look in here and have hundreds of notifications about stuff like closed forum threads.

How many moderators are there actively? I just know of two. I feel like I'd be tagging Rizzo because they are the easiest to remember for me.

It's confusing as in someone coming here rather frequently and answering question, was not a moderator
Not that reasoning is confusing

But you ARE allowed to stop using distortion! Say no to distortion ✋🛑

No way. When the party totems light up in the event, I get as many as possible, distortion hides my aura when I'm claiming those bloodpoints!

Yeah, that's how I had always interpreted it as well. I was reading the word developer way too broadly.
Do you know how many times I've seen people here in the forum tagging Peanuts and other BHVR employees
My understanding of the forum rules is you can tag a dev in a thread if they've already been involved in it (forum rules "tagging Developers in threads that they've not been involved in"). So if Peanits has already posted in the thread you can tag him with follow up questions, but you can't just tag devs from the start.

Thanks for the explanation. Np
