Why are so many Survivors still using MFT?
I'm now noticing this is my Killer matches as well as SoloQ. Like, why?
I can understand using it with DH, but I don't see any use for it and these Survivors are not using DH.
Do they just not know it was nerfed. I see it at least once a day, but it's becoming more common and I don't know why. My understanding is that unless you have the deep wound effect, it won't activate.

Because it's still quite good if used correctly, especially paired with an Endurance perk like Dead Hard or Off The Record. I think people underestimate it ever since the nerf, 3% is still a good buff for any player, and picture it with Hope. Your now 10% faster, which makes you uncatchable most of the time.
If they run it without Dead Hard or Off The Record, I'm guessing that they are running it with something like WGLF to give them and the healed survivor Endurance, and in return gives them the 3% haste.

I'd still use it if I was the kind of player to run an anti-tunnelling build (But I'm not and if the games are going that badly, I just stop playing).
I think that's what it's been redesigned to be. Paired with Off The Record, Sprint Burst and Decisive Strike, you could waste a lot of the Killer's time with this build. It's a good perk to run if you get matched up with a lot of Legions, so that could be the reason why some players are running it too.

Even though it only activates on Deep Wound, it's still pretty good. By itself, it works if you can force the killer to hit you in the 10s of base BT, and gives you extra safety when healing.
It obviously pairs best with DH and OTR, but is still ok on it's own.

I do like how it pairs with OTR and WGLF

I don‘t understand how so many people call MFT good. Deep wounds is so annoying to play with, especially since everything becomes darker and darker. The 3% haste isn‘t even much and in most situations it doesn‘t even make any difference. Then activating it without dead hard or getting tunneled isn’t really possible.

I love using it with off the record. It’s not an amazing perk but it’s fun to use.

because if the perk activates, it has potencial to be good anti-tunnel perk. It is just currently very expensive from perk slot perceptive.

While not nearly it’s former self it’s still quite good, definitely not a bad perk by any means.

Although best used in conjunction with DH, which is one of the best perks in terms of both usage and strength of effect, it can be legally activated by bodyblocking a teammate after unhooking. Originally intended as a base kit to reduce tunneling, the BT still makes MFT the premier chase park as long as it is available.

Agreed. If the screen didn't get darker and darker with DW then it'd be fine. But it essentially puts a time limit on an already strict activation requirement.
I'm inclined to believe a bunch of people have renewed interest in the game thanks to the anniversary event and don't realize MFT was nerfed.

Still works with unhook endurance so you can body block and get good value if the killer goes after you again, as well as just a solid pick if you think you will get tunneled for 3% more movespeed. Not that I like the first option but its viable

It's not that popular a perk, but usually when I see it its because of the 10 second endurance from heals to try and bait the killer into a hit.

According to Nightlight the pickrate is 1,85%. I highly doubt that you see it that often. Maybe you realize it when someone has it, but I have yet to see someone using MFT.
And there is a good reason why nobody uses this Perk - it sucks. Simple as that. Of course there are some people here who want to claim that it is a strong Perk, because that what they do with every weak Survivor Perk. But the reality is that the Perk is outright bad and not worth taking.
And with a below 2% pickrate, this should be a good indicator that it is not really a strong Perk.

I actually do see it once a day, despite what nightlight says.
Thanks for your usual snide remark though.
My question was why I'm seeing it, not why not.
To everyone else who actually gave their opinion and answered in good faith, thank you 😊

With how far behind the times a lot of players are (i.e still using Pop/Pain Res), they probably think it makes them move faster just from being injured.
1 -
It's even worse when you realize a lot of killers already drop chase a lot too.
It may become better if slugging becomes more prominent though.
0 -
That's my guess as well. Unless they are using it with DH.

I mean Pop and Pain Res are still meta worthy.
Made for This is still pretty good but not really meta. It has great synergy though.

I only use made for this for the healing endurance makes the perk feel like a safety net sometimes

Very underrated anti-tunnel perk.

It's still good with DH. I haven't seen it at all though... it virtually vanished for me the moment it was nerfed.

pain res is still good, pop is meh.

I only use when play Gabriel default perks. I like it, since not once I managed to save the whole team! Why, I injured, ran to the downed survivor heal up then even, if I get hit Endurance save me and I got 3% Haste! Run to next survivor again or unhooking!
Personally I barely see anyone using it. Or ayn of Gabriel's perk. Still wondering what perk I can make more useful.
