Devs ignored Knight feedback
Don't get me wrong the banner buffs is a nice addition but the community has clearly stated that isn't the only problems
-Guards don't reliably get hits cause their to slow.
-Guards Ai is dumb and easily trickable
-Plethora of bugs to Knight and his Guards
-Call to arms and Dried horsemeat should have been basekit as well
None of these were added or fixed now Knight is just gonna be this frustrating and easy m1 killer to play as and beat against.
Yes instadrop at loops was annoying and frustrating to face but it was the best viable way to play cause long pathing guards was terrible now devs took away the Viable way to play and gave poor meager changes to compensate and is weaker then before
Singularity was the favorite child of this patch Knight mains see y'all in 3 years when he's fixed

It's been a trend recently where the developers have received lots of feedback on certain things, yet go forward with their original idea without using that feedback to help improve and make things better. It's quite sad because we as a community want the best for the game, but it seems like the developers don't listen to us recently.

They turned a knight guard bug into a feature. Let that sink in for a moment.

In addition they fixed the bug that knight players wanted that allow to cancel a guard and summon a new one.
The negative one is a feature, the one that knight players want is a bug.

Meanwhile singularity having "middle ground" due to feedback
BHVR has two different kind of balancing teams I guess, at the very least

Yup.
With how much unanimous feedback was received to keep the guard cancel bug I was at least expecting to get that as a compensation for all the nerfs. That would've offset some of this. Some..

Knight is a dead killer now. Better move on to someone BHVR likes more, like Skull Merchant.

I feel like they don't know what to do with Knight and are just going to revisit him sometime in the future. Looking over the changes/patch notes, this patch really feels like the goal was "quality of life" changes. All they did was make part of Map of the Realm and Pillaged Mead basekit, give the Carnifex's chase power to the Jailer, and add the ability to manually swap between guards. Then, they heavily nerfed the anti-loop guard strategy.
Almost all of these are changes that have been asked for before, including nerfing guards at loops, given how many survivors dislike the strategy. There's no big buffs or new changes to his power.
In general, the devs seem to have trouble balancing killer AI units. Nemesis Zombies have had horrible pathing for years and nothing has been done about it. I'm hoping they're planning on doing a larger Knight rework, but that could take a while.

It was never going to work out as long as the guards still don't know how to go through a pallet. Their pathing kills their potential.

They have quite clearly said that they're not happy with how Skull Merchant is at the moment.

THAT is what bothers me the most.
I don't mind if survivors can juke guards now, it makes counterplay interesting, but removing the ability to cancel guards with a new one when they put in the ability to switch which guard you want and give them cooldowns? It makes no sense, all of those worked so well together and had a good flow of cooldown management.3 -
i don't think assassin should be getting juked. you can't help the assassin with 3x depletion and your good play as killer loses meaning.
4 -
I do agree with this one, I think Assassin should have a counter to the window juke they implemented.

They can say they ain't happy all they want but confirming she ain't getting changed till next year is criminal

Just more time to get git gud. you shouldn't be waiting for dev to change something.

I encourage y'all to play the new meta for Knight pallet eater Carnifex show the guaranteed free hits you get that's even more free then scamper Chucky
Show them real frustration

I've played it frequently and still looking forward to it, but I doubt if it's anything more than a meme since he lacks mobility or pressure
Also ranged nigh-guaranteed injury assassins are the thing, kinda

Knight need buff more.

Honestly, I'm good with killers that can keep everyone busy, and I'm more than sure that survivors will hate this playstyle even more. It will be super boring to play against player like me, but since devs literally force me to play like this, well, what else can I do. Call to Arms, part of the map control, don't commit on long chases as m1 killer... mmm tasty! Insta drop Knight will be missed, I swear.
