Really dislike the "Change killer, ditch killer" that's been happening

Killers are getting a batch of changes and then no fine tuning are happening to them.

Trickster, entirely dependant on 1 brown add on to be playable, on top of a plethera of QOL issues. Trickster mains do not like the state he is in.

Onryo, add ons that were meant for the release version of her still unchanged, on top of a bunch of QOL issues.

Twins, the 2 years for the rework were entirely reverted and remained as QOL changes. The issues the majority of the community has (buggy victor, add on dependancy, and hostage victor time) remain with no changes in sight.

Now knight and singu. Singu will probably be fine, but knight is still massively dependant on map of the realm and Call to arms, so it looks like he's gonna be in that state forever.

Why do these killers not get fine tuning when their glaring issues are presented? Especially trickster. He's arguable worse off than he was before.

I think the trickster part is the funniest one because his power is just worse but to make up for it you get to run slightly faster to be in a better position to use your power, its like an oxymoron sure you can position better now but you also lose all you would have gained from the new better positioning in extra time you need to use your power after the nerf. But thats fine because now you get the pity bonus of if it was a bad map before you get to play as an m1 killer

I think it's because they plan their updates out long term. They have limited bandwidth per update, so they make sure to make the most of it and always have something in the works. They may update a killer, but if it needs fine tuning they may not have the bandwidth for the fine tuning for a number of months. It's why problematic perks take awhile to get addressed as well. Unanticipated changes have to be squeezed in basically.

You forget Chucky (and technically, Amanda, but the last one was "good" with some bad stuff)

The changes Cannibal received weren't enough too. Still he needs to play The Beast's Marks Add-On to compete against better players. Nothing changed. It's so stupid they are so careful with bad / weak Killers, but if they decide to touch min A tier Killer they gonna add game changing changes (Chucky, Blight)

these killer changes ARE the fine tuning. Onryo got changed twice so it is not out of the question those killers to get changed again. It is just that they're overall happy where those killers are at so they're not adding anymore changes.

Twins in the PTB was a real monster, she was stupidly strong, and the buff Billy got make him way more powerfull than old Billy, they are not afraid, but sometimes, they don't know how to buff enough a killer

And for bubba, the hitbox change was very good on him, you can't deny that

Was good… but not enough… The same with Pig for example. She got nice buffs, but is it game changer? No.

In the same time many perks receive huge nerfs and the buffs need to be much better to be fair

Amanda… It's a special case, for the first time, she doesn't get only nerf change for no reason

Yeah, she is good "decent" at chase, but she get also nerf (hiding the aura of the box)

She is in the strange "room" with blight and nurse where, the two best killer, when they get a "nerf" change, it change nothing, and give them even new power as powerfull than before (nurse with seven blink or Blight with infinite rush)

It's funny because, they nerf more harder some perk than other, and sometimes, for no ######### reason (pharmacy, spine chill (not the old one) calm spirit, awakened awarness, furtive chase, territorial,…)
(For people wondering, before, pharmacie work when you are healty, not now, spine chill give a clue on the perk HUD and get active even with objet on the line of sight (so even if the killer see you with the bamboo on yamaoka, not anymore now) calm spirit, you opened a chest or cleanse a totem more slower, awakened show you the aura from people on a locker and get a 2+ seconde with lethal, not anymore, furtive chase make your terror radius less big after you hook your obsession, was good on some killer, and territorial only work on a perimeter from the basement)

And some perk, like pop or prove, they just change the number but not too much
I'm very curious to see the meeting with the dev where they decide wich perk they wanna change and for what reason

I think the biggest issue of the developers is that they don't listen to us or at least not to the players that have the knowhow (e.g. Trickster mains that gave feedback to Trickster). We can also see it on some Fog Whispes; they give the developers so much feedback but nothing happens. Of cause, the community do not always know what is the best for the game (sometimes the developers have the better idea) but the same goes for the developers too (the community has better ideas and the knowledge). I can imagen that beeing developers can be very stressful, especially when you have to work on different killers, perks, maps, and so much more at the same time. But when they make bigger changes to the game or killers, they need to take the time and make it good or otherwise we have to deal with bad things for months while the developers have to comeback in a year which results in extra work for them. So making bad changes and decisions hurts both sides. I really wish the developers would listen to us more or at least explain why they refuse to implement suggestions. It would make everything so much easier and better.

It's not only killers but also Perks get a bad change: Save the best for last was unhealthy before and now it is unhealthy and akward because the devs nerfed it in the wrong direction. We told them that it should deactivated when you're nearthe hook but nope. Sloppy was great on M1 Killers and needed a different nerf and not the timer one. Iron Will will become meta and is unhealthy even though so many players told them that this is a bad decision.

Many players told the developers that Knight needs Map of the Realm fully basekit and not half but also Call to Arm basekit for a better map control. They refused to listen. Now he will still needs these two Addons or otherwise his power will be pathetic to use. But out of nowhere they made the fasterbreaking Addon basekit even though it is a bad addon. also told them that the Bug (summon another Guard when another is active) should become a feature but nope it's a bug. The Twins Rework was so pathetic. What really bothers me is that they needed two years to give them a rework but in this time they didn't gave them a little bit of QoL changes like making Toy Sword basekit or a smoother switch so they feel a little bit better to play. They felt two years so clumsy and then their rework was way too powerful and in the end we got a Twins with little QoL changes. I also remember that one PTB Twins had a bug that made the switch between them super fast and smooth and many players told the developers this should become a feature but nope they refused to listen. But fixing the necessary and annoying bugs of these killers is something the developers never do. I remember when Chucky got nerfed and the developers only talked about the Pallet scamper but not about the window scamper and window scamper was possible in the PTB and we all thought they only remove the Pallet scamper. But nope, apparently it was a bug and they removed window scamper too even though no one was ever complaining about this. But never fix annoying bugs of killers. There was also Demogorgon and the feedback that his portals need also some QoL changes but the developers refused to listen. The only time when they listen to us is when something is overwhelming negative like starting matches with Bots, Twins Rework, or making Vecna smoother. But these are rather a "they have no choice"-situation than a "We listen to you"-situation.

That's the complaint though. Onryo and Trickster arguably are in a worse state than before, or just as bad. Idk why the balance team doesn't adjust these killers months after their changes are proven to be not enough.

BHVR have too many things to support and they seem to take too long to perform necessary changes.

which is why we often dont see killers getting changed unless it's one big batch of changes (update/rework) with a few tweaks after and then the killer is forgotten for another few years.

Even though old new Trickster was weaker, especially as a console player, I'd rather bhvr never touches him at all because now i just never play Trickster

their objective was to nerf onryo. their design made 0 sense from beginning… like comparing pig boxes… the best killer slowdown in the game to 1 second insertion tapes? I don't mind them nerfing a killer that over performs in her case but rework makes it that they cannot easily numerical number tweak buff her. She needs revert with number adjustments.

Trickster received some buffs in the PTB. survivor complained he was good and he got nerfed. than he got few reverts on his nerf but he remained add-on dependant because PTB nerfed out weighted the post-ptb buffs. if i was change him, i would change his add-on's.

The 4 add-on i would change are following:

    Death Throes Compilation:

    Decreases Laceration meter by -2.

-Increases the time between throws by 50%.

-Decreases the Decay delay of the Laceration Meter by +5 seconds.

    Fizz Soda:

When a survivor reaches 1 or more Laceration meter, the survivor is inflicted with 10 second of exhausted.

    Ji-Woon's Autograph:

Reduces wind-up of Showstopper by -15%.

    Memento blades:

Decreases the time between throws by +15%.

I think trickster is an ok spot but his add-on could use some love. More of QOL changes and bug fixes.
