New UI for charms lacks search functionality
With the new UI for selecting appearance and charms, we appear to have lost the search function for charms. The slot selection for charms appears where the search bar is for the other cosmetics, leaving you with only the filters as an option to find the charms you want.
There are so many charms in the game, especially compared to the number of outfits available per character, it's probably the cosmetic which needs a search function the most. Please consider returning the search bar to the charms tab!

Everything about the new UI sucks tbh, character portraits looks so shrinked too, search bar is too big etc

It turns out the search bar is still there and you can use it — you just can't see it, or see what you're typing. So not very user friendly at the moment. :(

It's not very user-friendly because the search window is blocked when you first select the charms panel, but if you tap the charms button again, the pop-up window (showing the charms you have selected) disappears and you can see what you're typing. On PC, at least.

The charms list scrolls back to the top all the time. The old UI, if you switched from one slot to a different empty slot, the charm list stayed where it was.
This UI is awful. It feels so broken trying to use it.

It's really bad, like everything else is fine just fic the charms, in the store as well
